Yes. Google is selling it, unlocked, for 349$ in the US, before trade-ins. At this price, it beats ALL of the competition in the sub 550$ phone market, all in all.
It surely packs a lot of punch for the price, which will only get better.

You can get the Motorola Thinkphone for $399, and its basically a pixel made by Motorola with their UI.
Very happy with my 7A, especially the camera. I can take photos in very low light. I do wish that the battery lasted a bit longer, but I know that it's working hard and I use it a lot for navigation and games, so I cannot really fault the battery life too much.
Just got the S24 Ultra, glad I can spend the extra buck, but if I was in the market for a budget phone this would definitely seem like a very good option, crazy how good the budget phones have gotten.
Great Video Just wanted to ask how does it compare to the Pixel 8 as far The Camera is Concerned ?
I got mine with Black Friday pricing at $374 and so far very happy with it. It replaced my Pixel 3A which worked great for about 4 and a half years. It comes with 5 years of security updates and 3 years of OS updates and I hope it's as reliable as my old one for that long. One feature nobody mentions is the fingerprint resistant glass. I think that's amazing and I love the camera!

@@chriscs9080 camera is its main selling point. If you aiming for flagship specs then I would look else where

This is the Photo Sphere mode. It is a bit unclear about Google removing it and adding it back, so experience may vary.

Any modem issues? My pixel 7 kept dropping mobile connectivity.
Pixel 7a is about the same. But my pixel 7 has no drops. Just random slow downs in data connection on the train. Signal just kinda sucks
What do you think. Should I get the Pixel 7 or the 7a. It's around the same price here.
If the price is almost the same, I would say go for Pixel 7, as it will have a more Premium flagship build.

Probably the 7, but the 7a has it's advantages that some might prefer. -Even though technically the 7 has a larger sensor, the 7a beats the 7 in most areas in photo tests. -Although the 7a doesn't last quite as long in standby, it tends to outperform the 7 in actual specific usage scenarios (watching videos etc) - and the difference in overall normal usage is very close over a day. -On paper the 7 has a brighter screen, but reviews and tests have consistently shown that the 7a actually gets brighter! -Smaller screen, which some people prefer. -The 7a will get slightly longer updates. -And of course the plastic back is much more resistant to damage, and even feels great you can't really tell it's plastic. So it's certainly possible for someone to go for the 7a even when the price is close, and it be a good choice for them. The 7 has benefits, just to give a good overview rather than it be one sided; -Much better glass -Slightly faster wired charging, and much faster wireless charging -Although the 7a beats it in most camera situations, in some low light scenarios the larger sensor on the 7 gives more detail. -Slightly better water resistance rating. -Larger screen if you prefer that. -And better trade in value from Google store if you go that route in the future.
Im on my 7a in the coal colorway and this phone is better than my iphone 14 that i switched from because i broke mine beyond repair and needed a replacement and honestly not going back to apple its that damn good everything is better
Definitely worth it in 2024. It gets security update until 2028! That's another four years! If you only watch youtube, check email, amazon purchase, or online banking this is all you need, really. You don't really need those 1k smartphones.
This is how I’m feeling. Been looking at a new phone to get since I’m sim only now after having an iPhone 13 pro (£30/$30 for 125gb a month and unlimited calls/texts) - been on the fence but I’d likely keep this for 3/4 years and save towards whatever version is out in 2027/28

Everyone always bangs on about the camera. Doesn't anyone love the Google assistant integration, voice to text, etc. Like I do
Its about all the cool integrations, that make it a true Pixel phone, but I would say that camera remains as one its main selling points.

One of the problem with this phone is the front camera, the over processing is way too much. The faces are bizarrely cartoonish most of the time. Wish it has the option to turn the processing off. The battery life... eh it is what it is. Definitely not a gaming phone.

I love everything about the pixels... except I'm also an avid gamer.. and these phones overheat and only run games at the lowest settings
I can't not recommend this pixel enough! It's not worth 500 dollars, it's like worth 79! It's like having a TracFone LG all over again! The battery is terrible, terrible signal, 5g sub-6 is very slow, got the sub-6 GWKK3 variant which is the bad one, sluggish, bad selifes and videos, it's just horrible. I switched to an A54, still bad, but not as bad as this.
If Google pixel came with snapdragon, it would no doubt be the best phone and with good battery life.

If camera is your priority, you should definetly go for Pixel. Otherwise you can wait a bit for Nothing Phone 2a on March 5, to see what it has to offer. Also stay tuned for a possible video on the Nothing 2a. ;)
@@ArmadilloTech Will dimensity provide promising performance like snapdragon/tensor ? i am sticking with tensor (even though it becomes microwave sometimes)
@@anshibm2017 Nothing stated that they will go with Dimensity 7200 PRO, which is specifically tailored to work better with the hardware of Nothing Phone 2a. So it is hard to tell, but if their marketing is anything to go by, then we should see some decent performance out of this.
