  • You can take it and put it in a chest come back and still do it it isn’t gon affect if you can or can’t do it I don’t know if you get another egg but you can do it as much as possible in creative

    • After you defeat the ender dragon, there should be an egg, punch it once and it should teleport to another area, after you do that, place a piston behind the egg, then, take a Redstone block and place it beside of the piston, this will let you grab the egg
