Here is a video of me going over the Geras + Kung Lao Kameo combo, a highly requested video by a lot of you guys in the past few days.

  • The 3 hourglass charge combo has made me such a better grasp player and after the thanks snap I usually go into the 50 percent and Enhance hourglass charge to be back at fullscreen with 3 charges. I went from champion to Grandmaster in 2 days literally just from switching my Kameo from Serena to Kung Lao

  • If you do a half circle input you can still do time stop whilst using down kameo which makes it slightly easier too

  • Quick tip for those that are having trouble: It’s kinda like EWGF in Tekken… as soon as the f2 hits and you input bf1 press r1 nearly the exact same time

  • i been using Jax with Geras mainly for the 100+ HP lol, been wanting to experiment with kung lao too tho. Just so used to using Jax's grab with my time freeze combo. gotta learn something new.

    • The optimal that I've found for 1 bar, 1 kameo, inevitable and FB is 590. It's freaking hard to land.

  • After F12 BF1 you can press kameo when the rock wall reaches its peak. I do jump in 2 f44 jump in 12 1221+3 for 1 charge 30%.

    • The best combos I've found 1 bar 1 kameo are: B12 f24bf1amp b12db4 f2bf1k j3 b12df2. For 438. F24df4 1 f24bf1amp b12db4 f2bf1k j3 b12df2. For 477 F24bf1amp f44 j1 f2db4 f2bf1k j3 b12df2. For 398. 12bf1amp f44 j1 f2db4 f2bf1k j3 b12 df2. For 369. F44 j1 f24bf1amp b12db4 f2bf1k j3 b12df2. For 444. Any improvements let me know.

  • Gonna be honest with you King! When you freeze em in air and gonna use the F2 into BF1+R1 (kameo) that one is hard! Like how fast u need to put it in! Mostly he does the normal one instead of teleporting behing him and continu the string

  • I just realized that when u practice this in short like standing 2 into r1 works much less then in the middle of a combo when the opponent is mid air not sure why. Edit: I think after timestop with kung lao u cant do the Snap anymore. i tried several times to do the time snap with 3 charges within the combo

    • make clone do (d d s1 b12) coming out of the time freeze for clone make geras do a command grab( command grab opens them up s1 hold them in place for b12) after the clone b12 it pops them up so you can do j2 dash f24 ex bf1 etc etc

  • Since this a 50 percent 1 bar combo ... Geras maybe next on the nerf list ... Raiden-Jax did something similar and Got nerfed.. Because if people perfect this combo and start abusing it . Its going to be the next best most hated thing on kombat league

After trying it and seeing how difficult it is, I don't think it will be nerfed unless the pro players who can abuse this complain you won't be seeing this much on Kombat league... The timing is super hard😭😭😭😭

    • Tried to practice the teleport cancel like 30 times it only came out once... When a combo has a very tight timing like that I usually don't do it.. Cos if you don't have the time to develop a very good muscle memory like I do... You will drop that combo under a little pressure and loose alot of matches... Mind you this combo route has been out for over a month and not a single person on Kombat league has done this to me.. it is that difficult. But in the hands of the pros it's the most unfair thing in the game RN... Considering that if Geras has 3 bars he can literally guarantee 80 percent damage of one touch if he does the clone move right after.. it happened at ECT and I thought it was super broken but hey if the pros ain't complaining let's just enjoy the combo whenever we see it..

  • Quick question about Geras after the patch FK i hope u can help!! Before the patch he was able to do F12 into back sareena kameo, now it doesn't work, the patch notes was just dropped and it doesnt say anything there about it, could this be just a bug? Ps: i just checked again and discovered that only F1 into back sareena works and not the F12

    • Yeah that got nerfed unfortunately. I believe F12 into Lao spin launcher also got taken away. I guess they don't want you to hit confirm off a string that has tick throws

    • Opens different opportunities to Geras. He can either make a snap from any place, and if an opponent is not blocking Geras, he will freeze, teleport to him, and you can make your combo. It's like a second additional snap that you can make in your combo. Allows you to make a very decent damage. Another option is a time reverse. If Geras has all 3 charges and one or two bars, I don't remember for sure, he can do instead of breaker a time reverse and recover all his health that he received while Geras was getting damage in combo Hope I covered all options. Not a Geras mainer

    • Indeed. Kung Lao kameo is just all around stronger so I suggest him. The combos will be different because Lao can drop you from the sky

  • Have find player on the receiving end of geras rewind semi breaker a little unfair . (2 bar or 1 if they had looping clock combo like you do here ) Do you think , the rewind breaker should take 2 bar on activate (so potentially 3 bar keep it equal to normal breaker) , and the ex "redo" sand clone should use 1 bar to compromise ?

    • It isn’t lmfao your just canceling the follow up attack from time freeze with the teleport. That’s the whole point of the teleport being able to start no matter what you’re doing. You think the devs overlooked something this big 😭😭

  • Cyrax is still the better choice, even w/ the nerf. The nets unlock combos that charge his snap. One combo can even do all three charges and get respectable damage. This allows him to have his full kit faster and more often. He's much more dangerous w/ snap and rewind charged.

    • Seems like you didn’t even watch the video bud. He showcased kung lao having combos that charge the entire snap as well, from no charges. That’s in addition to everything else he can gain (timestop loops, overhead low mixups, general pressure in neutral, super fast recharge time) cyrax is missing a lot of those things.
