Doucoure's pass to Harrison for the opening goal was sublime. Then, his pass to Gueye for the winner was even better. Doucoure is our most important player right now.
He has always been a giant killer , he could play for anyone.
Was his pass to Harrison really 'sublime' though? I love Doucoure of course but it seemed pretty standard
That pass from Doucoure to Gueye did not count as an assist, and I don’t know why it wasn’t! It was a perfect example of an assist!
Mykolenko really flourishing now, thats the Dyche effect. Hes got them drilled, organised and gritty. They're confident at the back now and they're feeling more comfortable in getting forward as a result. The Dyche haters have all gone quiet
Mind Branthwaite needs some coaching, marking was a bit wayward and leaving your leg out like that was giving the attacker the inevatable option, he is young but still better than keane who has become a Maquire copy cat, not getting carried away but we at least look as though we can compete with the teams around us

the more I watch the cross from gueye to myko for the second goal the more impressive it was. I thought it was miss hit initially but it was a no look lobbed cross on the mark. Class

Not complaining, obviously, but how does Mykolenko get so far forward as a LB? Is he given free reign to get that far forward? I want to pick Dyches brain here.
Myko deserves a treat
It's the rare good thing about McNeil's incredible one-footedness. McNeil is forced to hug the touchline, as he needs the width to operate in to deliver crosses. This drags the opposing fullback wider than he'd like, creating that space for Myko to make an underlapping run on the inside, where no opposing winger is going to want to track his run. It seems to be working pretty dang well.
He's making up for the dozens of games where he barely crossed the line.
The defence is confident now. Branthwaite and Tarkowski, apart from their 2 errors in this game, have been really assured at the back. Everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing now which gives Myko the confidence to get forward a bit more knowing that McNeill will help track back and the 2 centre halfs will gobble up every long ball

Not complaining but no idea why Doucoure wasn't offside for his goal.
On a different day, Doucoure would have been given offside. That is the frustrating thing with VAR. The inconsistency is creating headlines, while the performance of the players is being largely overlooked.
It's a shame there is no decent angle provided, but it does look like Lerma keeps him a few CM onside.
Their no 8 was playing him on then stepped out but the ball was already passed him when he did hence he was onside, done it in slow mo many times on by a whisker
In all honesty I thought Palace's 2nd penalty shout should of stood as well
