  • The intentions of Frank and team are good. He never said THIS IS THE WAY to fight. DRILLS serve a purpose to heighten awareness. Some people spend their lifetime learning, discarding what is irrelevant, and retaining what's essential. Some people, on the other hand... spend their energy exhausting themselves with NON constructive negative remarks.... what's the purpose??? IF we cannot improve on the SILENCE. just 😬.

  • You can learn this from a true PANATUKAN (dirty boxing)practitioner. It’s a Filipino martial art, but to his version he just rebranded it. Beginner start with weapon then hands, to learn hands and eye coordination.

  • This is a martial art. I do see elements of wing chun ( ellbowdrills, Chain punches, tan sao, pak sao) and fma drills ( hubad lubad). But the movements are to big in order to work against a skilled, or strong and really aggressive opponent. It is easy to find out in sparring. You cant lear to fight without actually fignting. You will never understand what it is all about. And dont tell me it is to dangerous to spar. Even fighting with weapons is not, if you do it in a sensible manner.😉

  • It looks like a mix of different styles, each beginner level: 1. Ground defenses are mostly like Gracie (except against standing opponent) 2. Stand-up looks mostly like Wing Chun. This has very often not worked against serious attacks 3. The jab-cross-defense is so flawed, I can never imagine this would work even against a beginner, who really is committed and wants to hit you. I think, some things work, esp. the Gracie stuff. Some things work against non-serious attacks. I would not say, that this is fraud, but there is a risk of cult-like development.

  • Sorry, to have not som uch time to view the long presentation, but from the 4.35 presentsation I have learned three things : Angles are OK, outer arms, again OK, but changing R/L handes is seldom in our , beginners´hand. And one more thing: counterattack is not rhythm! Only for your students, I have spent more than threee decades in classical karate, Goju-ryu, where there is an old radotion of only three types of reactions to be leaned: Sen-direct attack initiated by the attacker Sen-no Sen - giving thwe first tstep to tohe attacker byut ending it by tha attacker´s wil, which need s timing!!! Never for a beginner. Go no- sen. -is lieving attackt to the attacker, waiting him to finish and taking theinitiative in our hand. A typical case for beginners. Timing is out of question! The defender cannot see neither angles, nor moments for timed counter-actions. It´s not self-difense, but suiside!!! Dear Sir, if I am not right, please apply to Japan. Paul, 67, retired instructor of Karate.

  • The question is, if he is so good why doesn't he compete in MMA or UFC competitions or his students? I saw a video of him during a K1 (kickboxing competition) a few years ago that he had no chance at all against his opponent. In my opinion it is a bit nice to see but not really effective, especially from a long distance when 2 people are standing in front of each other and can use their legs.👎👎👎
