Chennai is an authentic south Indian city with a colorful history and also has the word's second largest beach! Loved this video
❤
Not any more, look at all the girls almost everybody is dressed in Pakistani clothes. It looks like more Pakistani culture. Almost all men not dressed native. Weird place. Not South India at all.
Second largest beach thing is bullshit 😂 it’s a hoax spread by chennaites
Nice profile picture bro 😂😂😂
Maybe authentic Tamil city. But there is no authentic South Indian. There are other cities too in southern part of India like, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Trivandrum, etc with their own culture. Chennai is one of the four big metro cities in India, and one of the authentic cities in Tamilnadu, along with other cities like, Thanjavur, Madurai, Coimbatore, Kanyakumari, etc. Vanakkam all 🙏
I am from Mumbai and I am amazed to see the cleanliness in the entire city. Thoroughly impressed. Well done Chennai.
They also built flats ( very basic flats)for slum dwellers and relocated them . Slums not to be seen now 😮
Ahem! Like every Indian city, there are places that are clean and there are places that are dirty.
😂😂😂😂😂 No bro
Bombay used to be such a beautiful place in the 70s and 80s, fresh and open air ❤ yes among South Indian cities Chennai is absolutely great, when I think about how the Quam River stank of feces and chemicals in the 80s from afar. Tamils (and Andhra descendants) are definitely trying their best to make this a liveable and loveable city ❤❤❤ my favourite big city of the south
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chennai is a pretty safe city with friendly people. Not many tourist spots to see but a good place to live.
Not many tourist spots.. really. Come on lots to see.

Hi, Chennai is not a 100% tourist place. But it is the Capital of Tamil Nadu. And Tamil Nadu has sooo many tourist places. from hill stations, wildlife reserves, colonial buildings, medieval castles, waterfalls, beaches in Pondicherry, amazing food. Do visit us another time! Tamilians are most loving people in India!
True in TN more than Chennai other districts actually have more tourist spots .
Who said Chennai is not a tourist place ? Don't say wrong information about Chennai... Somany tourism places available in Chennai...
Tamilians are one of the most rude and arrogant people i met across ...yes tamil nadu has some fabulous places and temples but i dont agree people are loving or friendly

Funny how he keeps mentioning Chennai isn’t touristy when it is the capital of the most visited state (Tamil Nadu) in India by both domestic (Indian) and international tourists for many consecutive years. Chennai, the capital city, is the gateway (at least the airport) to Tamil Nadu ❤ and the actual tourist hotspots are more spread out across the state.
That's because the Chennai airport is cheaper,
Most visited states in India are actually Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka...Tamil Nadu comes 3rd or 4th
@MrAgolikeri that list is based on your opinion or some stats? Last I checked, TN is the most visited state in India based on stats
@@aryavishwanathan4662 stats keep changing overnight or dynamically. And each source provides different statistical inputs . You may have checked a different source. Also tourists can be of different kinds. You have got to specify which category of tourists you are talking about. Foreign tourists visit Karnataka the most followed by Gujarat,Delhi, and Maharashtra Indian tourists visit Kerala a lot more frequently. Again stats are based on hotel bookings , reservations etc. Tourism officials provide different stats based on tickets sold at museums, art galleries , railway bookings etc. Overall if you consider all this , then some websites mention TN as top recipient of all tourists domestic and foreign, some websites mention other states like Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra, etc

Chennai looks far more livable than any cities in the north of india. Not too crowded, cities fairly clean n decent, people seem more chill n respectful. Im impress
But it's hot which is an only disadvantage 😢.
Yess I visited Chennai and visited Delhi I can tell the difference that Chennai is far more developed and clean than most of Delhi ( not including Gurugram+ Noida) it's a shame for us that our capital is new delhi and still it's really dirty and disgusting like it's a garbage. Delhi government should work on hygiene and clean the streets near new delhi railway station and should develop that area and most of new Delhi areas + old Delhi which are full of slums and disgusting people. It's a capital and shall tell you I can't find any development in Delhi like it's our capital. Really shame on government
Its culture . North is mostly Muslim dominated
It's cleaner better quality of life but hospitality is much better in north we are more open minded people and welcoming in south they only care for there own state people
@@gurjotss98 Not like that we just love our state more but it doesn't mean we don't love others .. just search how many North Indian state people living in chennai for decades with happy life ❤

Really very good people, the first day we came out of airport, one auto driver despite us telling him no we don't need auto (since we already booked ola) we kept telling him we don't need need auto. Without asking us, he picked our bag and tried to HELP us. And then asked for money and we tried to give him 50 rs or so without asking us or telling, he snatched our wallet, took 500 out of it and went away. Wow really good people. I was in delhi for 1 year, and no one ever robbed me, people are so kind in delhi. Chennai it feels they are all goons and specially when they see someone not like them they try to act superior and loot us.
5:10 It's true, Tamilians are really crazy about having good Bikes! It's a Tamil guy thing XD. I have lived in other parts of India where I mostly just see Scooters.
Chennai is one of the unique and beautiful cities around the world if not for the places it is for the people of Chennai. They are far more kind warm and respectful for the visitors if not for their own. Every 10 mins of distance covered you can find different localities and different aspect of view. You probably came pretty close to 2 important places in Chennai. Chennai has lot of variety of trees than most cities. A botanist from Europe once wrote that with two good rivers they should maintain them and the landscape well and they should not be spoilt for development.
If you want see sunset at beach, go to Kerala. You can see only sunrise on Tamilnadu beaches. If you want to experience both, visit Kanyakumari the southern tip of India😊
Hi some more to add , the pink buses you saw at the central station are free for women 2/ you visited the second richest state in india after Maharashtra 3/Greats scientist and mathematicians like sir cv Raman , Ramanujam , Abdul kalam are from our state
I'm impressed that it seemed pretty clean and their MRT looks modern 😮
If you're in India, skip the big cities like Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. To truly experience the incredible natural and cultural beauty of India, head to places like Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Islands, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Kashmir. Ladakh is an absolute gem that you can't miss! It's one of the most unique places in India. The landscapes there are simply breathtaking, like something out of a postcard. You'll be awestruck by the picture-perfect scenery, clear skies, and majestic mountain passes. For an incredible road trip, drive from Manali to Leh in Ladakh. It's considered one of the most thrilling road trips on the planet. The winding roads, stunning landscapes, and ever-changing scenery will leave you speechless. Trust me, the villages in the Himalayas are pure magic. They offer a tranquil experience that you won't find in any bustling city in India.

Hey Dani, thank you for visiting India. The more you travel the length and breadth of the country the more you would realise how diverse it is. Every city is different from the other in terms of culture, cuisine, language, places of interests. Hope you have a wonderful stay and visit again.

go to ECR which is a chill place in chennai, lots of small beaches and high end shops and restaurants. Besanagar beach is also very chill beach, Marina beach is not so good.
You should have preferred to stay near the East Coast Road (ECR), in one of the beach resorts, where you'll get the real taste of Chennai beaches. You have a lot to explore along the ECR, and also a ride to Pondicherry would be worth considering. You should have had a ride on the IT Highway too.
