This lad is technically very gifted. From his last fights, I can see his jab is world class and for a tall and tangy fighter he can fight well on the inside. Bright future.

Ben Davison gets too much limelight, he's brought no fighter up from the bottom but gets called a world class trainer, he's a grade A bellend who thinks he knows it all, he shouldn't be on the commentary at all.

He really need's to up his opposition man, I hope he does so in the next fight, I was expecting it in this fight but it never really happened. He looked good and impressive against a much weaker fighter so its hard to judge how good he but I liked how didn't play to the crowd and took his time on his punches and shot selection was impressive more so in his past fights.
I have a different view. I think he is only 22 and this is a good level for him. When he's 25 he's on track to get a title shot, which is a great age

When Hamza walks forward…his back foot comes up level with the leading foot……he’s off balance and I expect better opposition will gain flash knockdowns from this. Also, he doesn’t fight tall…..he doesn’t therefore uses his natural height and length. He needs to at top level. But he’s very good inside for a tall guy. He needs to rip that jab out more….try and emulate Tommy Hearns……similar body shape. Good potential though, with very good composure and a good dig.
Sadly he has a arm reach that is kind of short for his height at 6’3 that’s why he fights more inside, but yeah he should utilize the jab to pressure his opponent back and to maintain a safe distance outside, I think he is more like Paul Williams.
I see he has a smidge of hearns in his style. Hard, fast jab, right cross needed. Could do worse than to emulate one of the greats if it works for him. Mustn't big him up, he needs lots of regular fights so he's ready when the time comes. Needs opponents who fight back. Gurria did nothing.

Wanted to quit when he was dropped the first time, but didn't want to seem like a quitter. Then he was hoping to ref would stop it if he didn't return fire, but ref let it go on. So then he did an exaggerated fall against the ropes instead.

These commentators don't seem to know what they're watching. The first knockdown was an obvious left uppercut, but they called it a body shot. Then when the man was obviously waiting for the count of 8 to get up, they were sure he was staying down. More like Shiraz fan boys than boxing critics.
