By definition, judge Cannon has the appearance of a conflict of interest by the fact that she was appointed to a lifetime federal position by the person she hast to judge. She should’ve recused herself and the oversight committee should’ve made her stepped down before the case even started.

Intimidation of witnesses is just not an acceptable practice in the US court system. It is painfully obvious the Trump is trying to manipulate the witnesses and intimidate them to allow him to do that to anyone will affect others to have testified yet lifting this detailed order is not prudent or appropriate in this case, the prosecution should’ve put a gag order on Cohen. It is important to prove the affair happened, because the defense in their opening statement said that "there was no affair". So Stormy was important to put on the stand, and the prosecution not using McDougall must mean they are pretty confident that Stormy did a good job at proving her claim.
Really? Other than her words what proof did daniels present it happened? She's already said at least twice that it didn't happen. One of those times was a signed letter. So if words are enough to show someone did something, then thanks to larry sinclair the world knows obama is gay.

Justice needs to be levied equally or people lose faith in it and before you know it there goes your democratic form of government. They don’t have to prove that Stormy had sex with Trump, they just need to prove the motive, and they did it. The case is about falsifying business records, not about sex, although it had the case begun.

Perhaps CNN should find less ignorant guests; anyone who has been paying any attention knows that it concerns the offense of falsifying business records -- usually a misdemeanor, but elevated to a felony because it was done to conceal another criminal offense.

Trump was already on thin ice with the judge a day after Merchan warned he could face jail if he continued violating a gag order intended to protect jurors and witnesses. He did manage to avoid crossing the line while speaking to reporters in a courtroom corridor at the end of the day. But the blush-inducing testimony from Daniels may provide the most arduous test yet of his shaky self-discipline and bring the possibility of a new gag order showdown with Merchan closer. With the level of detail that Daniels provided about her time with Trump, including his “silk or satin” pajamas, she appeared to seriously undermine his denials that they had a relationship. That could be critical to explaining to jurors why Trump was so keen to allegedly cover it up. Trump’s attorney Susan Necheles was able to get Daniels to admit her antipathy for Trump and that she wanted to see him held to account. This admission could potentially cast doubt on her motives.

The law is the law, doesn’t matter what political view you have. If not the US must implement a whole new system. I’m quite certain the judge is able to execute his duties according to the law, be fair and not partial. Apart from that the behaviour from Trump oozes guilt.
