Star Wars MEGA Death Star Action Figure Diorama preview - Maquette reveal

Welcome to the MEGA Death Star Action Figure Diorama preview.
Many of my Death Star rooms (decals) were originally designed for my 2005 Star Wars Celebration III booth. Now, in 2023, I am deluxifying what was available back then for the fans plus NEW never before seen rooms that I never had time to complete for the convention.
This diorama will be my BIGGEST EVER and in order to design and figure out where everything would fit, I built a 40% scale Maquette.
Now complete, I can reveal it's construction and use it to give you a preview of all the actual upcoming construction (in actual 3.75" action figure scale) that will be appearing here on my channel during the winter 2023.

    @nebakanezzertoyhunts1449@nebakanezzertoyhunts1449 Жыл бұрын
    • Yes, Lego fits in the maquette, one of the reasons I scaled it 40%. I will be building mine for my 3.75" hasbro figures since those are the ones I have collected thousands of since 94 (plus the originals mom bought me as kid in 70's) for those like you who collect and display 6" black, I will be releasing the decals in both scales. If there are decals on site not available yet, you can multiply them x1.6 or scale 160% in photoshop and then print at 100% scale. I'd love to see you make larger versions that we could put in the visitors section :) Frank.

It will give you a much more incredible illusion of bottomlessness.

I am updating all the decals to exact movie accuracy and using the blueprints when available. It should be a fun build, and everyone can build along with me which will be cool too. I was thinking maybe a mirror trick, I did that for my Emperor's Arrival display. Does plexi work better than a real mirror ? I'd love to see your photos. Thanks for taking time to comment and tip. If you refer to the decals, starting this year, after 20 years of giving away for free, I have made the decision to charge small price for them. When I was working in movies, I got paid a lot so that was one reason my art was free, now I am retired, money is tight, so the little extra I can make selling my art will help pay a small percent of my art supplies so Incan contunue make more dioramas and tutorials for you guys. If you join my Patreon, you get discount codes so art even less expensive. Frank.
