If my husband can taste that something is spicy at all, I can barely eat it from all the burn 😂
It was the same thing when they tried the pepper-coated rice cake in japan a few years ago. Saf was able to eat multiple and still talk and stuff, and Tyler started sweating and panting and had to get ice cream and finish the bread-in-a-can

I've had the first black ramen many times and happened to get the ghost pepper ramen at an international market. Had nooo idea what the scoville units were until now. No wonder I couldn't finish the ghost pepper one hahaha. If you guys ever get the sauces from Hot Ones line up, Widow Maker (#9 on previous season) is actually hotter than the Hot Ones final sauce in my opinion. Some companies falsely label the scoville units 🙄

Okay Safiya ,Tyler and Korean Englishman a sudden collab I want to see happen!! Also Safiya something to note about Korean Englishman (and Jolly) is that it is a channel run by two people, Josh and Ollie. They are both main partners for the channel. Just that in Korean Englishman Josh features more in it.

You can tell that Safiya is so focused because she repeats things Tyler has already said and she doesn’t even realize it. And Tyler just nods.
I think it's more an anxiety thing.
@@meow-vk7uq no it's not the spice it happens in all the livestream. So I also think it's because of 1 anxiety and 2 because she's so focused on the chat and trying to make everything perfect that she blackout everything he said. Love them but I will say I hope she will chill at some point lol because I think it makes that a bit less '' spontaneous '' or I don't how to say it but I hope people will understand what I'm saying. Because we can see that she's a perfectionist by the way she's making and editing the videos (both of them) etc but the livestream should be more laid-back and Tyler is a bit stressed but more chill and she's still too perfectionist for this format in my opinion.. I hope she will just relax after a few episodes.
@@audreysamandler I know what you mean, as much as I enjoy these videos.. they are too ‘prepared’. Of course some preparation has to happen, but everything step by step seems too organised. Like it would be better to just be like today we are going to try all these noodles... and let the rest flow.
@@mdx7460 yes, because at the end of the streams we can see the pressure go down, and sundenly she becomes more '' open '', less '' scripted '' kind of, and it's for me way better for this kind of format. Like I've said I understand being very perfectionist or let's say '' professional '' for the videos on the main channel, but the live stream should be just '' let's have some fun, let's be more free, more human, laid back really, it's live if some sh*t happens well it happens. And I'm not saying that to be mean to Saf and /or Tyler love them both, love their personalities, love their couple, humour etc otherwise I wouldn't watch. But just think they are starting this live streaming adventure they are use to having full control over their babies (videos) so it's hard to let go and just '' be ''. But it will come I'm sure. (and sorry if I'm writing badly ahah I'm French I do understand and '' speak English '' but I'm in no way perfect)

Those people who eat whole mukbangs with these spicy noodles are not acting at all. I’m someone who loves spicy food but I was still tearing up after few bites.

Same!!! I lived in South Korea and ate spicy food everyday for 5 years, but these killed me! I dont think they out in the sauce right lol because thats painful

I enjoy them, but I eat them with cream cheese on the side, no lie. It’s so good that way, though! It’s quite an endorphin rush, too.

Tyler laughing his pain off and never losing his good humour, Saf immediately blaming herself and then actually getting emotional, both of them being the polar opposites in how they deal - Ty moving about, Saf siting down/going into hiding - but fully supportive of the differences and united in caring for each other... And then Crusty comes over because he felt they were in distress. Why are y'all so wholesome and beautiful 😭😭😭 Also please don't literally put yourself in pain for our entertainment. ❤️❤️❤️
idk bout anyone else but i get so interested in Tyler’s monologues, sometimes i forget the point of the video! 😂
Fun fact: lactose free milk will not kill the spice of things because it’s the sugar in milk that kills the spice! If you’re lactose intolerant eat a spoonful (or however many you need) of sugar! It’s helps the spice go down also, not just medicine 😉

But lactose free milk is sweeter than regular milk. I'm confused
@@glittery_cucumber lactose is a type of sugar in milk. So while there still may be some sugar left over in lactose free milk it’s not enough to kill the burn. I’m not sure about all lactose free or almond milks but the ones we usually get in my family around 7-8 g of sugar where as normal milk has about 12-15 g.
Would honey also work?
Acidic things is what neutralizes the spice so lemon does a wonderful job. Sugar is acidic

Tyler is a really good live entertainer, for him to be able to keep up with it all and make light of it while the heat kicks in is really impressive. Saf's reaction of hiding under a table is priceless though, love it

@@tiffanyleraa9975 yeah, just the flavor package and a tiny, tiny bit of the spice package. I used to like spicy food but I had severe stomach issues a few years ago and now can’t tolerate any spice.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the aesthetic happening here? Tyler and Saf paid so much attention to everything matching and balancing each other out as far as the bowls, sauces, etc. So so satisfying to look at.

Saf’s grandma putting extra spices on her half-white grandkids’ food to make sure that they weren’t weak. 😁 Tyler, that James Bond villain’s condition is called congenital analgesia! It’s really sad up because yeah you can’t feel pain, but pain is super important, it’s what tells you to pull your hand off the stove before you lose all layers of skin.
Actually that Bond Villain from World is Not Enough had brain damage from a bullet in.his brain. The bullet was continuing to move through his brain destroying his sense of touch, smell and pain.

Try the ice fire noodles. They come in blue packaging. They are meant to be eaten cold. Those apparently are super spicy.
They aren't as spicy. They have a bunch of different flavours, and while still spicy the offshoots tend to not be as spicy as the original. I became obsessed with them years ago and tried them all. I'd eat them every day almost. Even now if I find a new flavour I'll get it to try.

My thoughts exactly! Tyler has some great stories and commentary but Saf is too focused on the chat that his comments go unacknowledged or get a quick “yeah”. His comments then get cut off by something about the chat. No fault of hers though since I’m sure the chat is distracting and difficult to balance.

You guys should taste test the other flavours! They’re really good, esp. the cheese, mala and carbonara! They’re as spicy as the original so it’s not bad.
Also for future spicy challenges, yogurt, ice cream, melona bars, any fatty dairy product helps a lot
carbonara is the best flavor! i also mix in an egg and mozzarella at the end, it makes it so much better

That kind of pain can trigger vasodilation everywhere, so you can wind up with a sudden drop in blood pressure! As fun as these videos and foods can seem, I hope folks are trying their best to be mindful of the risks involved, including passing out.

My 11yo cat already has a keen interest on my food, and I have the same problem to choose cat-friendly menu for myself. Sometimes I cheated him with salads: he is not amused by lettuce.
My family adopted a stray cat, now named Oliver, 6 months ago and he will try to eat anything edible that he can reach. He's gotten better about being less aggressive with his food theft attempts and he is able to register when we don't want him to eat something better, but we still have to be cautious with leftovers and anything I eat in my room.
When I still lived with my parents,our neighbour once left the door open as she was preparing chicken thighs for dinner. It apparently went something like this: She had seasoned a thigh for each family member and briefly turned around to prepare the oven and when she turned back around she realised that there were only five chicken thighs left when there were six originally. She then saw our cat dash away, raw chicken thigh in her mouth.

Crusty reminds me of my kitty Angel. She could of been his sister from another mister. She passed away a few years ago but she made it to at least 21. They said she was about 9 months old when I adopted her. I put in a rose garden with a small statue to help remember her. I think about her in a happy way every time I see Crusty.
