Stunt Team + Ryan Gosling + singing = epic carpool
------
He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?
From real life stunt man and director David Leitch, the blockbuster director of Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and the producer of John Wick, Nobody and Violent Night, comes his most personal film yet. A new hilarious, hard-driving, all-star apex-action thriller and love letter to action movies and the hard-working and under-appreciated crew of people who make them: The Fall Guy.
Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie-being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)-goes missing.
While the film’s ruthless producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham; Ted Lasso), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson; Bullet Train) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series, The Fall Guy also stars Winston Duke (Black Panther franchise) and Academy Award® nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
From a screenplay by Hobbs & Shaw screenwriter Drew Pearce, The Fall Guy is produced by Kelly McCormick (Bullet Train, Nobody, Atomic Blonde) and David Leitch for their company 87North, and by Ryan Gosling and by Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones, Steve Jobs and executive producer of the upcoming series Ripley) for Entertainment 360. The film is executive produced by Drew Pearce, Entertainment 360’s Geoff Shaevitz and the creator of the original Fall Guy television series, Glen A. Larson.

So cool that the stunt guys are getting recognition. hardest workers in the industry :)
The whole movie is for them, I love it!
Plot twist: They DO have the rights & their marketing team should get a raise for this!
This came up as an ad on another video I was watching. This is the first ad I have legitimately watched all the way through without hitting the skip button.
ive watched it multiple times now. haha.
Maraqlı filmidir
There was a good bond one once with Daniel Craig and Heineken...look it up
This is how you market a damn movie!!!!!!
last youtube ad that achieved that was the just eat advert with snoop dog
Ben Jenkin and his falsetto is clearly the winner here
The Kenergy is strong with these Fall Guys. This looks like a fun movie and I love them giving stuntmen the appreciation they deserve.
Came here for this comment! SO MANY KENS IN ONE MOVIE!!!
@mr.sandwichesreviews5900 and you had to say it 3 times lol
@@quwaran.7264 my phone did that. I didn’t even notice
It is, is really funny and the credits show the real stunts doing the scenes🙌🏼
Genius way to market your movie, by showing each person behind the work without having to say what they do. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You're absolutely right, it is genius! I love how they did this.
I am going to admit that I am guilty of watching this "ad" more than five times in a row..........................a day!!!!
Me too
And also.... Journey probably received a boost out of nowhere. 😁🔥
Ben DOES have the voice of an angel!
Years ago I worked in the film business and was lucky enough to get to know some of the stunt guys . Truly a great group of men and women. They get paid to make others look good and gain super star status based on their hard work ,brains, and immense skill. They remain in the background unknown by the public. To this day out of respect for them and the unknown that create these cinematic escapes for us. I stay through the credits to this day.
Ryan is just so friggin cool. Always. In every scenario. Effortlessly.
I would watch Ryan Gosling recite a traffic ticket or go grocery shopping. Seriously, he is the most engaging talent to come along in a long time!
He's like Ryan Reynolds
@@ezedaniel9288 Was going to reply the same thing. 🤣Both men are amazing people!!
Is Ryan’s hit different 😄
listen, I have been big fans of stunt teams and crews since mad max fury road; dan radcliffe's doc with david holmes made me appreciate stunt crews even more. y'all had me drawn in for this movie just because of how funny it looks, AND now I have individual love for each of the stunt team! epic marketing work, for real!
I've bee a fan of stunt guys since The Fall Guy came out more than 40 years ago a with the focus on how they are unknown and unappeciated. Maybe something will change this time around.
Ryan is the most likeable, fun, sincere celebrity I can think of. And then is his appearance and multi faceted talent... Canada very proud of him 🇨🇦
What about Keanu...? AND he's also Canadian. And, of course, there's also Ryan Reynolds... ❤
Your space bar is jammed. 😉
@@Linda-qp9kpRyan Reynolds is a stud, keanu looks homeless.
Been watching him since the Ready or Not days / Breaker High days. Short story, met him on a flight from Toronto to Israel back in 2004 (just after The Notebook) after a 17 hour flight, we noticed him on our flight, I slow walked past him and as he caught up, I asked for a photo (mind you this was after a long haul flight) Was so nice and asked us which part of the GTA are we all from. I mentioned how I have been a fan of his and he said to each of us, Thank you for being fansm, otherwise I wouldn't have a job.
@@Nattymatty7Keanu is just tired. You’d go the length to regain your life too if you found out someone killed your puppy.
I'm really loving this actor-led movement to giving the stuntmen and women credit when it's due. It's super fun.😊
You are delusional. Implying women never got credit before. Stop your incompetence and pull your head out of your a##.
😂 This is a commercial to promote a movie and I enjoyed watching it more than most actual movies! Can't wait to see it. 🇺🇲❤️🇺🇦
I'm such a fan of Ryan gosling he always put a big smile on my face,he's a incredible actor !!
I'm loving the marketing for this movie so much
They are absolutely making the most of the journey song
The bye-bye😂😂
Probably the best ad for a movie I've seen in a very long time. Brings me back to the days of Ricky Bobby! 😂
Ima install one of those roofs seats on my 06 Honda Accord.
Super talented and very humble ryan gosling + amazing and genuine emily blunt = the fall guy ❤🔥🫶💥👊 perfect tribute to stunts, crew, movies and audience
Hell yeah. This is fantastic marketing.
😂 Love this! Mega-kudos to the amazing daredevils of the stunt community! ❤
Absolutely brilliant ad. It reminds to just have some dang fun in life!
I’d never seen that stunt rig with the stunt driver on the roof 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
MARKETING ON POINT
BRILLIANT AND FUNNY....SOOOO GOOOD. What a scary, amazing, dare devil and SKILLED livelihood. Really glad to see them being recognized. There are so many amazing stunt doubles making a movie exciting, bringing adventure, AND truly death-defying performances. The skill is unmatched...obviously skilled!!! This is why we fall in love with these types of films. We salute you all!!! God Speed!
Haha Steve Perry just posted this on FB. Im stoked and can not wait to see this movie =)
I could watch Ryan Gosling do anything. I've been a fan since I saw his Kenergy.
Best choice of music! Go Journey go!
THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER WATCHED I LITERALLY WENT BACK TO THE CINEMAS TO WATCH IT
You clearly haven't seen too many movies! One of the worst films Ive ever seen. The writing was terrible, the acting outside Gossling, Blunt and Taylor Johnson was terrible!!
umm no lol the movie stunk
My son had a poster of a stuntman on fire in his room. He said when he grew up thats what he wanted to do. Well hes all grownup and to my relief hes never done that. But i love this video. Texted it to him.
Real cool for appreciating the stunt team.
Giving your marketing team a standing ovation!! This is entertaining at least as the movie prob will be!! Incredible 👏🏻👏🏻💖👏🏻😂😂
Steve Perry shared this on his page. Awesome!
Well played - peak Gosling!
Universal Pictures, I subscribed because your videos are super cool!
This ad was better than any movie i've seen all year.
STEVE!!!! The Voice!!!! Watched this 3 times! Best trailer ever!
Giving me 80s vibes, I love it ❤
Of course Logan's driving. He's got the world record!
from all the lil promos they released for the movie, it's my fav . a bunch of hot guyz good at doing stuff lol luv it
"YOU SEEM GOOD WITH HEIGHTS"
You can sing whenever you want Ryan lol! And I'm really excited to see this film!!
The best ad i've seen in a really long time! I love the recognition that they are spreading for the stuntmen
Can't. Stop. Watching!!! 💛🖤💛🖤
In its opening week, The Fall Guy seems to be getting bums on seats here in Australia. Today and tomorrow (Sat/Sun), my preferred local cinema has 17 sessions each day. The physically closest theatre (which has problematic parking) has 8 sessions each day. Those numbers include intimate ~40-seater 'Gold Class' sessions. Anyway, I looked up the online bookings and the numbers are good for both days.
Going to have Journey stuck in my mind all day. The stuntmen are crazy hot.
Greatest kind of marketing campaign ever! 😂
I feel old... the lack of seatbelts drove me nuts. But God damn is Ryan Gosling likeable.
I've been interested in stunt men and the industry since Burt Reynolds did the movie "Hooper" in 1978. I'm really looking forward to The Fall Guy.
This trailer is so funny and so good. I can't wait to see the movie. It looks like it's going to be so good. I'm a huge fan of The Voice Steve Perry and Journey and I'm so thrilled hat "Any Way You Want It" is in the movie soundtrack. ♥♥
So fun. You can't carpool without Journey.
This is brilliant marketing. Love the stunt guys!
I'm up for an hour of Journey's playlist! Anyone else? 😂
"I'm claustrophobic." Best line.
More recognition of, and awards for, Stunt Performers, please!
Well damn, I might have to see this movie because of the marketing alone 😂
That rig on the top of the car is genius
Common in the film industry. It's how they film car chases. The first and second Bourne Identity movies being great examples.
Best promo for a movie I’ve seen in ages!
Oscar’s should have a stunt category award
Maaan, leave it to this guy to promote your movie. I have no choice but to see it now
I love this. Anything with Steve Perry’s beautiful voice.
THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!
Such a fun movie. Love the stunt team getting attention. Apparently they set multiple world records during the film, including most car flips.
Absolutely genius piece of marketing.
So fun! It's got the singing, the stunts and, best of all, the "bye bye". Was that picked up while filming the movie in Australia? We say that alot, here 😅😅
Beavis changed his hairstyle 😂
😂 hhuuuhhuhg
Does anyone these days have more fun than Ryan Gosling?
Absolutely going to this movie!
My god they are all so hot!!!!!
That's one of the best bit of movie marketing I've seen, kudos to whoever came up with it. Now where can I buy a Fall Guy jacket? 😎
An ad so good, I searched for the full video
One of the greatest movie ever made. Thank you David. God Bless you
Bravo. Worth repeat play. Well, done, Marketing, well done.
First song was one of the theme songs on Surpernatural ..
The Kenergy of it all.
This is the best promo! Makes you want to book your tickets right now.
"I'm Claustrophobic", proceeds to climb into a back seat of a GTR lol...
Aw, that was GREAT! How nice to call out the guys who never get recognition. That's the way Ryan Gosling needs it! Pure classiness. A shout out to the ACTRESS behind the ACTOR, Eva ❤ Mendes and the beautiful family. Keep doing it right, you two, and you'll have JOY and HAPPINESS when you need it most; old age. Popularity fades but good Karma is FAMILY.
I drive 😎
I am soo bloody excited to see this movie I can't wait,I use to watch the series when I was a kid, can't wait, soo stoked they made this movie ❤
anyone else waiting for Ben to say "hi Barbie"
Just came back from the theatre. It's an awesome movie. Congratulations to all involved and especially the stunt guys. Great work. 👍
Ryan just gets cooler by the day. Massive respect to all the fall guys in this film, great promo ❤
I watched it two days ago. I really liked it ❤
I saw it yesterday, and I too enjoyed it! I expect that most fans of Nice Guys and Gray Man will love it too.
Love his humor
Thank you for making a tribute to your stunt men! This is amazing! A movie about a stunt guy making tribute to their stunt men!
He's just driving past the Back to the future clocktower about 7 times....
I would watch a movie of just these four driving around and singing. So fun and creative!
Such a good ad for this movie and in general. Came to this vid from seeing this one as an ad. Had to give it some love and happy to watch again.
What a pick for a song for this promo. Steve Perry's singing makes this song a timeless classic.
LMAO !!!!! Love this.........Thank you ❤
Back in good old Hill Valley. Nice to see the clock tower still standing. 👌🏻
I am paying for this movie twice because of this sketch 😂😂😂
I have not been to a movie theater and paid to see a movie in over 2 decades since my kids were little. However- this I would gladly pay to see. Excellent video. Glad they included the stunt guys. About damned time imo. Love the Journey song as I played Journey a lot in high school in the early 80’s and went to their concerts.
The way they have marketed this movie is brilliant it’s got me wanting to get to cinema to watch it been about 2 years since been to a movie theatre… good job marketing team
i"m claustrophobic! "gets at the back of the car" ... love it lol
HE SAID NO SINGING!!! hahaha i love highligting all his doubles. its crazy what they do
