  • Beware of Romany pickpockets at Grand Arenas. They know this is where a lot of tourists buy their tickets. Team of 3 tried to get my wallet last night but luckily I caught them in the act and stopped them. The depressing thing was that none of the locals did anything to intervene and simply looked down at their phones as though they accept this is the norm. So be aware at all times.

    • Hi! Thanks for asking! Yes, the 10€ ticket does include the trip back to the airport! (No max. number of days specified between the 2 trips, so presumably it’s valid at least a year - good point though, we didn’t think of checking that). And whether you get the pink card or a paper ticket we don’t know either 🫣, we’ll try to find that out and add it to the description below the film!

  • can I buy ticket in advance for when I go back to the airport after 5 days? also what time is the earliest I can catch the tram from the city center since I need to be in the airport at 8 for an 11 am flight?

    @xerezxerez6260@xerezxerez62606 ай бұрын
    • Yes, you can buy a return ticket right away, or 2 trips - same thing. The tram starts pretty early each day, between 4 and 5 in the morning, depending on the tram line you’re taking - so no worries for an 11 am flight!

    • @@rivierago thanks for the reply. can I still go to grand arenas first when I arrive at terminal 2 to get the 1.50 euro ticket instead of getting the 5.00euro plus the 1.50 euro? I mean it's still available right?

  • Can you just use the app to buy a 1.70 Euro ticket from the airport station instead of having to get off and buy the ticket at the other tram stop?

    • If you have an android phone it should work via app (not with an iPhone, the iPhone only allows to recharge a physical card that you already acquired, and the app for both android and iPhone is only in French if we remember correctly)

  • Hello, can i just hop on L2 from airport, and then get off grand arena for free, then to buy euro 1.7 ticket to my destination?

    @soc.8199@soc.8199Ай бұрын
    • Yes! It‘s 2 stops from terminal 2 and just one stop from terminal 1 to Grand Arénas.

  • Careful when buying tickets - there are pickpockets targeting tourists at Grand Arenas!

  • The taxis charge so much, they display a tariff by the taxi rank but it is always substantially more than displayed no matter the destination

    @Keneka@Keneka7 ай бұрын
    • Really? Well, now that you know the official rates you should be able to fix your price with the driver before hopping on the taxi, we sure hope

      @rivierago@rivierago7 ай бұрын
    • @@rivierago it has always been the case with taxi drivers at Nice airport even with the introduction of displaying the tariffs to certain destinations this hasn’t changed. on our last visit we asked the first taxi driver in the rank his price to VilleFranche-sur-mer and the price was so much more than displayed and he told the rest of the drivers not to take us, in the end one kind driver took us, it was still a lot more than displayed but we just wanted to get to our hotel and start our holiday. If you visit trip advisor you will see the problem is common place with 1 out of 5 star reviews, I think you just have to be aware when arriving, as you have shown in your video there are so many other alternatives now (unfortunately as my parents are in their 80s it was the easiest for us to get a taxi no matter the cost)
