Embrace yourself in the beauty of Paris and its interiors. Bénédicte has decorated her flat with minimalist aesthetic in mind not to overpower the typically Parisian wooden floors, marble mantels, mouldings, high ceilings etc. Discover how she has used iconic Danish lamps, warm tone of light and African sculptures to create a cozy and romantic ambience in her flat. I agree. It can have a more home like feeling, rather than looking like a museum. A little too minimal for my liking. Beautiful big space. It needs a bit more color, and some traditional pieces to give it balance! All in all, lovely apartment.
It’s very nice. Simple but classy. A few plants would be nice. Tall plants would take the eye up. I live in a house with this character. The large bright rooms can absorb a lot of bright colours and large pieces.

Gorgeous apartment. I like how she stated that there is so much richness of architectural and decorative detail in the walls she has left them alone and mostly blank. What she describes as beige looks on camera like ivory or off-white. I would like to have seen the kitchen and bathroom(s).
I love the bones. Not a fan personally of the cold, minimal vibe (so different from the warm minimalism of Scandinavian design) but it works as a showpiece I suppose.
Interesting apartment. I love the minimalist part of it, and some nice pieces of furniture. What I see also is the place that lacks some home feeling to it, some paintings on the wall, a carpet, plants. Also, I see lots of pieces that look beautiful but how practical are they, like two chairs in the living room, is another thing.
It is indeed beautiful but it looks like an abandoned museum. It looks like no one lives there - lifeless. What's the point if you can't walk through your front door on a stressful day and get that feeling that your home is embracing you and giving you a big hug? Please if you see this comment, get some rugs, and plants, and fill that fruit bowl up. The 3 pieces of fruit looked depressing af.
@@newleft2254 I think some people like room for their thoughts and creativity in a space. They don't feel the need to clutter it with noise to distract themselves with 'hominess.' I find this common among high end creatives. It's more than lower end that looks for 'comfort' in their design rather than an expression of discipline and control. In this design I find she has a great combination of both. Paris is a very busy, loud and dirty place in daily life. This is a peaceful space in the city to contrast that. It expresses taste, control, solitude, and clarity. This is what serves to inspire many people. Other people like rugs and clutter, like a nice British cottage in the countryside. But consider the difference in setting a purpose...

Beautiful apartment and I appreciate the attention to works of fabulous artists but it feels more like an ode to other people's lives than a personal, lived-in space. I think it may be hard to attach to this decor in order to live in it... Beautiful and impressive to visit but happy to come home to my own warm home filled with a little sweet, real-life clutter. Gorgeous apartment though.Absolutely LOVE and covet the master bedroom... stunning!

Very beautiful apartment and I love the simplicity in decor. However, how do you manage to have all these valuable items intact with a toddler running around the house? Of course it's beautiful to see such a house, but I feel it's only nice to look at, not live in it (except when you are living alone or without kids).
I was thinking the same thing. This would be a stifling apartment for a child.

An elegant, understated interior which lets the architectural features and flooring do the work. It’s beautiful but I think you would have to be very careful with the white sofa & chairs.
Indeed, one can already see that sofa is more creamy/grey on some parts than others, especially with small kids.
This is a completely impractical apartment for someone w children.
