He wasn't playing for those things I presume he was just having fun
@@therealist.5390 08:29 they blew it
He won African nations Cup and Olympics medal. But I understand your point, as he could have won much more. He was unlucky his move to PSG didn't work out really well.
Atlanta 96….Nigeria won the Olympic gold
@@bigcheech1937 Yes but No EPL tittle or Champions league
The only African player with a legend card in Fifa so far! That's how good he was. He still plays ceremonial matches these days and still make all the players look silly😂😂
Charlie A Michael Essien And Drogba also have cards in fifa
@@dahkid3767 but okocha is always on the show
During this guy’s era the high rate of racism in football is incomparable that is why it seems like he’s underrated!
Legends should never be forgotten
okocha. the infamously brilliant talent.
+Uzair Afridi He was beta dan Cr of today
.jay jay his our Brother
@@mminvincible He was. He still is. His charity matches amaze the shit out of him. Guy really hasn't lost anything. He still dribbles, runs, tackles, passes, and scores just as well. He's kept all of his talents. More than we can say for CR7.
@@othniellbolaji4758 better than Alli
My man..you reign when nobody recognize you...and even the FIFA...you're a legend my brother....I love you Jay Jay
Mourinho complained about his long throws......claiming that they're like corner kicks
hahahahahahah
hhahaha
😀😀😀
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
it's the effortlessness for me, he is strolling and fucking everybody up
the master dribbler, one of the best that ever did it.
okocha is just too good, i can't object it even thou am a united fan
+Abraham Kehinde From what I see in this video , he was playing basic football, nothing to be considered too good . He is physically stronger than everyone on the field.
+2010DDB so who in your opinion is better than him
Peter Ndlovu, Marcelo, Patrick Viera, Pepe, etc. Messi, Arjen Robben , e.t.c
Why do you say that? @ Mike C.
Who's still watching in 2020? 😂
Here we are ! Watching from Doha Qatar ( 2022 world cup host ) insha'Allah
Yep... what a player though
NAIJAKWEZENWU
JAY JAY VISION
Hhhh yes
Jay Jay Okocha, one of the greatest midfielder of all time, I salute this talent,🙌🙌🙌
Jay jay the most entertaining to watch out of everyone on the pitch and easily the most skilfull and fun
How can one little man repeatedly mug off Scholes and Keane, arguably the best midfield pairing of the Premier League era, in their prime?
he was simply phenomenal
cos it's Austin "Jay-Jay" Okocha, that's what!
In those days big names don't come close to him because he can disgrace anyone with his dribbling skills.. Because of him I was a fan of Bolton back then.
They didn't see it coming. He took them unawares
because the video only shows his highlights,
what a player his passes just like sending SMS
Absolutely right man
😂😂
lol
You can repeat that for 100 more years
True that..
He ran the show that day. Totally owned Keane and Scholes, and that's saying something.
yeah 100 % right , He was to good for them , it was a Jay Jay Okocha Show
He was everywhere in the field, defending and striking.
probably the best player ever!
+barry langroyd hanson incredible
barry langroyd hanson nah calm down now 😂
If he was in a better team
barry langroyd hanson no way u idiot😂
He was a good player...but cmon.
Élégance de jeu, maîtrise. C'était un grand et formidable joueur. Big Okocha !!
I love him because he plays the beautiful game at his own speed and timing
Bolton were a tough team to play against back then.
TheoKabala89 where is Bolton now?
TheoKabala89 Bolton portsmoth where those teams i was enjoying to watch them
Hahahaha...Scholes and Keane learnt a lesson that day
You bet
Yep,they had some very good players, they had that toughness about them but they could also play some nice football too,a lot more than they were given credit for imo
Okocha should have come in this era... 2019 or so. Most of us missed seeing him play in real-time
Even Ronaldinho acknowledeged him as a role model.
They played together in PSG.
Tanzania move sexx
Chinedu Ezuruike Ronaldinho was coached by okocha
@@SavageAR123 Nah he wasn't , they just chilled together and played on the same team.
Nahimana Marat hmm I’m not sure mate but I was sure he was

An absolute class act, used to love watching him. Had a vicious shot and pass, could take set pieces, long throw was super strong and tough in the tackle, could score, put people through, great crosser. A complete player.
even his passes were so powerful💪
He played the whole match alone for his team. You see him everywhere. The best ever player ☺
Outstanding player and skills to be admired....GOSH how come bigger clubs didn’t big his service okocha could have played for better clubs....proper legend,,,he was better than most other 🇧🇷 players,,,,he was that great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👏👏👏
Bruh he was better than the entire Brazil team out together lol. Go watch okacha vs Brazil . Ronaldinho tried his best to avoid him throughout the game lol.
A team that was in Europe for 2 seasons running. How is that not a club worthy of a player of his talent?
I remember this game well, it really was the Jay Jay Okocha show, wont see anything like that at the "Macron" again. He was a credit too the EPL and not just Bolton. Such a shame that both Jay Jay was not allowed too end his carrear at Bolton and how down hill Bolton themselfs have gone since players of his calibre stopped appearing following BSA's departure.
the Best Africa play
there will never be anyone better
Great adamz stfu spastic
RIP Gary Speed
football misses this kind of talents.....One of the best in World football. your memories still in our hearts
Too bad, Bolton Wanderers players were just ordinaries. Had Okocha played with that skill at Man.Utd against Bolton we would have watched dozens of goals already. The man's skills and ball control are simply mesmerizing. Perhaps one of the best in the world.
Corners, freekicks even longthrows!! Unforgotten baller one of Africa’s GOATs
I used to love watching him play. So skillful . Easily one of the best ever.
2020. watching jay’s magic
Jay Jay belonged in Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus, not Bolton. I think the European big clubs conspired to ignore him because they were scared he'd win ballon d'or if he joined one of them. They couldn't stand a Nigerian winning that.
What type of dumb conspiracy theory is this?😂
@@juwongowild1699 Lemme guess: You're one of those trusty, colonised dunderheads who think ''the white man'' always plays fair? I'm sure if it was one of those your ethnic issues in Nigeria, you will quickly see 'conspiracies' by the rival ethnicities even where none exist. Dunce.
One of the best to ever play the game.
I love okocha so much one of the most skinful player I have ever see....Always smiling on the pitch of play
Okocha a bundle of talents.
Nobody is gonna acknowledge his long throws and brilliant long passes
1:05 keen action against kean, im united fan but respect to jay jay.
Same to me,, but I think in this game he was the best in comparison to man u midfielders
He fooled Kean😀😀
The one Man U let get away.

What a beast 😱 His skills is 100000 level above of his teammates. He really messed with man untd. I imagine he is still haunting scholes in his sleep 😂
Jay Jay Okocha Is Way Up As He Is Named Bolton’s Best Player In Last 20 Years
Still here in 2020 👌🏾jay jay was great 👍
Nani km man city hamutuezi nyinyi liverpoool
But really, he was a marvelous player
Fantástico! Posso me arriscar dizer que foi dos melhores futebolistas do Mundo.
Who can play like this man again in the history of football
He had Scholes in his back pocket the whole game, lmao
Ian Leo made scholes look syupid
U forgot Roy Keane lol
lol
Scholes is the greatest English midfielder of all time.
Haha yeah
among the living legend of football he was a genius in football
Legend
fantastic legend!
Okocha just needed another player that would complement him. He was too good and his team mates were not quick enough to get him.
he is a legend, fantastic footballerof all time
Okocha had incredibly quick feet, his talent was immense though tbh I think he was more of a crowd pleaser which is maybe the reason he never reached the heights his talent truly deserved
When you are black playing before a vastly white audience in the peak of football racism, pleasing the crowd is your only lifeline.
Nope. His talent was there for all to see. But he played for mid or even lower table teams what was he to do at Bolton?
@@righteoussins5574 Were George Weah, Eto, Drogba, white?
Righteous Sins what?
David O'brien okocha, gaudino, yeboah had to leave Frankfurt back than. Okocha went to fenerbace and then psg, Not among the top clubs then. He was Almost 30 When He Came to england. If he would have gone to england like gaudino or yeboah right away After Frankfurt He would have become more famous. I think yeboah was better and is more forgotten than okocha.
JJ is one of my best players in the world sorry for my broken English

I was at that game. Okocha was brilliant, Keane and scholes couldn't handle him
this guy played in the wrong team. His teammates could not support him nor play at his level.
Moritlha Madisha this was the end of his career. He played at psg before
Jay was well on top in mid field it looks here... Keane however was smart enough to stand off him and not dive in....same can't be said for Scholes. ...he tried to take him out of the game twice.
You are right
You're full of shit. 1 man does not make a team. BWFC had plenty of talent all over the pitch at the time.
Baz Pearce do you have to curse??
I loved to watch this guy
This is 2023, and I'm still marvelled how Okocha did all these. What a magician!
this guy was 1 of the greatest footballer Nigeria ever produced.
Kanu Martin's
The greatest
I remembered back then every country always requested for Jayjay present whenever Nigeria was to play friendlies with the countries.
I remember this very, very well. Good memories you brought back right there @Mike Lowo. He was that famous and legendary, even back in the days.
its evident his teams mates cant handle his game
true
he was great, but he didn't have the right attitude and didn't take advantage of his huge talent.
+Futbol we have seen successful players with huge attitude than him.
+Socrates Thivhulawi true
+Futbol better yet didn't have better supporting cast to play with
Jay Jay was technically on another planet to Scholes and Keane.
I love this guy!
Shay jay is a Legend, no doubt....
JAY JAY IS GOD OF SKILLS!
He is my best player of all times
he played in neunkirchen as first european station. a german team that has been in the 5 league for ages, still unbelievable

jay jay is a wonderful player
How okocha found himself at Bolton at his prime is beyond murder
that was not his prime ,he was 30y old whan he came in bolton ,his prime was in fenerbahce and in psg
£50k per week. Enough said!
what a player there no more such a soccer star
Looks like highlights from 14 games. Clearly he lacked support he was playing 2020 game with 1999 spirited team.
🤣🤣🤣🤣he was ahead of time
Lolz
He's like a master doing art all over the place wow. What a great talented player❤
He was 1000 levels above his teammates
OKOCHA İS LEGEND.
This man is more than the level of his team mates
Mierda no sabía que los cracks sacaban tremendos laterales igual jajajaja, que jugador completísimo era este.
Legend... Hope to see another Jay Jay some day
Did anyone notice how he manned that midfield, he stops united free flow, and dictated how the ball moved around the midfield... But today, strikers just literally run pass the midfield towards the defence and you would start wondering where your midfielders and defensive midfielders were. 🙄
I loved Jay Jay when he played for PSG...such a talented player!!!
I thank God i got to see JJ play
Composure like this is like having a personal gold mine.....it's to die for
