I don’t know from my own personal experience, but I definitely know that to be true from the experience of others. It’s because in my opinion I’m majority of the time the fixer let’s just call them they are usually pretty small time unless you’re lucky enough to know someone a little bit more towards the top of the food chain and have a really free no bullshit low risk. Fixer. These people are usually pretty deep into substances themselves so they’re not typically the most reliable things tend to work on their time, of course they are up for money then they get all over people like white rice but it seems like the two things never really coincide the users and the fixers convenience or financial situation always seem to be a little out of sync shall we say lol and even as an outsidercan see that clean as day. I don’t know that I would have the kind of patience to be a user. I am way too paranoid and impatient lol if I’m being totally honest, I probably wouldn’t last long.

Ahhhh!!! Girl, Tina listen...me and my boyfriend at the time were desperate and sicker than hell, no one was answering. So my idiot boyfriend begged me to go knock on one of our plugs door... he said, "You're pretty he won't get as mad at you." 😑😑😑 so what did I do? I went and knocked on the damn door. The plug was pissed but instantly calmed down because I got upset, tears welling in my eyes must have made him feel for me 🤷♀️ so we got right, but damn was it a gamble!!!! So glad to be clean!!!! 🙌🙌🙌

It was always when I was totally out & at my sickest when my plug either wouldn’t answer, or he would but he’d be “like an hour or so”…which translated to “several hours at minimum”😭 So nice to wake up & not feel that awful panic knowing I was out and probably broke, too!

I never could ask random people for stuff, but my ex God rest his soul. He passed away a few years back to a drug overdose, but he would randomly be like that person. I’m like that’s a stranger. He’s like I’m telling you that person and he walk up to random strangers and he always come back with something , I never was way too nervous

This is my favorite comment section… I love your content… I’ve been struggling to watch my MIL go through this while she has two younger sons… coincidentally her name is Tina too… I still love her… and it’s not as bad as it was… but you can tell when she starts back on it… she’s a good hearted woman and deserves so much more than what she puts herself through….

I have chronic pain and get narcotic rxs filled at different pharmacies- whoever has it in stock- my main pharmacy doesn’t usually have my pain meds- how would driving 10 hours to a different pharmacy help someone get something? 🤷♀️

@@user-di4ud4xn5h I too have chronic pain, chronic Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, but I've dealt with pharmies refusing to fill my narcotic pain meds because they believed I was too young... I've had a pharmacist throw my bag of prescriptions at me and cut her eyes while she said "ENJOY!", I had 1 pharmacist tell me there was no need for me to be on any of my medications, that he even called my Dr who wrote the prescriptions out & my Dr told him "I don't know why she's on these medications", however aside from the fact that why would the Dr writing the prescriptions EVER say that, the day he claimed to have called was a day my Dr wasn't even in the office, like every week he was off that day... I struggled a lot with what I actually have wrong with me & whether I was going to live with this pain... turns out, I don't really have a choice. But yeah so I'd have to drive around, sometimes after sitting through a 3 hour Dr's appt, then driving around trying to get them filled for hrs... it was awful.

If the pharmacy don’t know you or your not a regular 9x out of 10 they wouldn’t fill the prescription for you. They would for like tabs or something or a low amount but if they were erc or Roxy they would be choosy. I remember my aunt with a bone disease who had a script couldnt find a pharmacy to fill and had to go around the whole city to all of them just to find one that would do it. Then when she found one she would stay there so every month had to drive an hr away just to get her meds. It’s ridiculous. I feel like if you got a real script you should have to fill it regardless of what someone look like.

Sadly mine was alcohol, so it was available to me…until I ran out of money one day and payday wasn’t for another 5 days. Ended up in the ER and had a seizure. Addiction is dangerous. Glad to see all of us in recovery support each other ❤️❤️❤️

Omg... A lady came up to me in a parking lot the other day and asked for "a dollar." I didn't want to give it, because I was suspicious, but she wouldn't go away! She just kept rambling with some crazy story about other people being addicts and that she didn't know and needed to get out of town. When I finally said, "Let me go in the house and see what I have," she waited! I honestly didn't know what to do in that situation, so I ended up giving her two dollars. 😪

In my country it is very difficult to get yourself to rehab. I have been addicted to morphine for 6 years. In my country (Austria) you get your dose in the pharmacy for every day of the month. If you don't have a job and are dependent on the social welfare office, you get €1200 a month and your medication is free. I only have to have a long-term prescription made once a month and I get free care for the whole month. it's like a curse... most people I know can never get away from it because it's so easy to take care of your addiction here... and legally too...

Currently in this cycle with fentanyl pills. My first probation violation and they are trying to give me 30 days. I just did 2 weeks in another jail..I'm so sick of it..just don't know how to get out of this cycle..I'm trying to ask for a program. I'm just so sick of it. 😢
I used to be addicted to my antidepressants when I was 13. I used to look everywhere to search for my antidepressants when my mom took them and throw them away since my treatment was over. I cannot remember very much of those years, it's so pitiful

In my country it is very difficult to get yourself to rehab. I have been addicted to morphine for 6 years. In my country (Austria) you get your dose in the pharmacy for every day of the month. If you don't have a job and are dependent on the social welfare office, you get €1200 a month and your medication is free. I only have to have a long-term prescription made once a month and I get free care for the whole month. it's like a curse... most people I know can never get away from it because it's so easy to take care of your addiction here... and legally too...

Nah asking random strangers isnt an addict thing. Its a junkie thing. I was an addict for 13 years. Never once robbed anyone or went around shady as fuck asking complete strangers for drugs. Dont blame being a scumbag on drugs cause plenty of addicts werent
And everyone's story is different. Be grateful you didn't get that bad rather than thinking you're better than bc the truth is you're not. Being in the comment section projecting, trying to degrade others or trying to shame anyone isn't cute. Sounds like you've still got some work you need to do.
