The bird is currently investigating a murder of crows.
It's not a crow because crows cannot do that. In England it can be a Blackbird, in USA it can be a "Mockingbird"....

Nah there were only two crows so it was an attempted murder.
The bird was later arrested for impersonating a police officer.
Better impersonation than the current lot they do a very poor impersonation
when's the trial?

I think that bird should be charged with hate crime
But found innocent due to a technicality ... impersonating thr car but not the cop 😉

It's actually a new tactic. They send the birds out across the city to deter criminals. In a serious incident, they'll release a flock.
so they give them the bird
I used to live near a place that installed car alarms...the mockingbirds in the area would mimic the car alarm sounds - ALL the car alarm sounds, including "please step away from the car"!

Hi from Germany. I have heard here since 2016 a bird that knows almost all cellphone tones, even old ones he cannot know agewise (maybe he is a really old bird). I have ony heard him in the trees in a narrow little valley here 300m away since 2019 i havent heard him anymore, maybe he is gone or died from age. But i can remember him doing that for hours. Even the Beepers from the fire brigade he made and the pagersounds, too. So i think he was around a firestation and a dispatchcenter where he heard it.
He might of run out of battery

They say that they have one of the highest intelligence in the animal kingdom.
Birds chirping. Is merely them replaying the subsonic humming emitted by the earth.
Glad those birds are still alive. Here in the U.S. cops confuse acorns falling on cars for gunshots, and those acorns had to be taught a lesson.
A blackbird. How wonderful. The Lyre bird in Australia or New Zeeland is superb at mimicking.

So unique 😂 there's always one animal that feels like it has a human soul❤
It’s the loudest sound in its nest area, it’s essentially trying to compete with the police sirens. Birds in general can mimic if prompted or a habitual need.
That's both sad and impressive. Impressive because future generations will learn and use this to attract mates, sad because it'll create confusion.
I say it's sad cuz if it's Mimicking the police 🚨 siren, probably cuz that's what it hears the most around there.
