    • Don't feel too bad, he got a major under his belt I think he is just fine. I wish too though that the community wouldn't be so brutal towards underperforming players..

  • 7:09 It's ALWAYS better to keep moving, especially in CS2 because you make no noise until you start moving in a direction at a certain speed, and because you still keep your momentum. If someone peeked you and you were standing still, there's a small amount of time it takes to ramp up to max move speed, but if you're already moving side to side, whichever side you choose you'll have full move speed....not to mention how much harder it is to hit you because you become unpredictable at a point just moving and choosing randomly which key you hold to move to the side lol. It's always worth doing it in games where you make no sound because you have such a massive advantage over people who peek you without giving away you're there.

    • I am also thinking that maybe it gives you focus when you keep doing something than just stand still and hold angle and also maybe like in starcraft where they keep doing anything to keep up their high actions per minute so they stay warm in the game. idk just what I was thinking

    • Exactly. That's now common knowledge. I'm surprised that someone who is around CS for 2 decades doesn't know it or doesn't understand why that is important movement.

  • id call that moving "pivoting". it is not a thing to keep you busy, or in the flow. its to make your model slightly misalign in certain spots, so the enemy has to correct and overcorrect his mouse. its also like a jiggle peek it has the same purpose actually, just a slightly more minimal movement and mostly you are in the open or even when you hide in a corner, its recommended to slightly move few pixels out of it and back in, otherwise when enemy comes around the corner the head will always be in one spot - easier to prefire. the jiggle peek is to make the enemy miss, a pivot is to make them miss while you arr already in a duel

    • Hey, don't diss eco Aces. They aren't as impressive as gun round Aces, but they're still very difficult. You'd expect anyone to lose a 1v3 against pistols rushing them, much less 1v5s. This is why one of the first things you learn is to not commit to a fight against ecos since they can overrun you and get an upgrade easily.
