  • Wow, gotta give you credit for driving that S, I would think the remaining few would be in a museum. Thank you.

    • Many years ago while still at school I had a mate who's older brother had a four cylinder Healey he took me for a lap around Oatley park ( Sydney) but seeing my only income was from a paper run I ended up buying a BSA bantam..

  • I like this video at just 30 seconds. There is nothing better than a Healey in the Alps. Better still if Jeremy Welch has had his hands on the car at Yoxel. Worth every penny if you can afford it.

    • Thanks for the comment, but not quite sure I understand you...my car has a race engine with many Denis Welch parts...but I've retained the SU's in favour over Webers. Did the hill climb again in 2016 and got down to a 5min 50sec time, car now back in New Zealand

    • Ah, well, I guess you've never driven a Lotus elan in the Alps, Healey would be way behind after the third or fourth corner.

  • Actual Driving doesn't start until 9:14 into the video, but that is the longest hillclimb I've ever seen!!

  • Looked to me like he was letting off on the gas too often . Could have cut the time down quite a bit .

    • Yes, fair comment..this was my second run up the hill...I came back in 2016 and took over a minute off to record a best time of 6 min 50 sec...i'll upload a video from that year...camera position not as good
