    • @@BobJohnson-mq2dr Yeah, but by the same token JB is no PG. I am a huge fan of both, and I see strengths in both, but for my current money, PG is just more accessible, is much more active and can play any genre like it's his specialty. It's a wash really, but I just prefer PG right now.

    • @@Phoebedumplings It's not bickering, it's the good ol' fashioned "my dick is bigger than yours" back and forth that has gone on for generations. Yes, it is childish, ridiculous and pointless. But it's like a rite of passage for men. It's in our DNA

    • I always picked Adrian Belew as the GOAT. But Paul G is a close second. I sound more like Page in my playing. And sing like Bobby Weir though I wish I could sing like Paul M. I try to be Alex Lifeson whenever I can. Or even George. But I play flute too, and Ian is always in my head. Just glad to have it rub off on me a little. But I'm only on 6 or so records now and play live some. No hits, just sweaty stage stuff and expensive equipment to haul around. Where's my swimming pool, need to write one up I guess. American Idol killed the entire record industry. Or maybe it was the internet. Y'all go to a live show. Buy their music. Have fun out there.

    • He's the only person who I believe when they say "oh that's just a bunch of notes, it doesn't have feel" or "sweep picking doesn't sound that musical". He is bona fide one of the fastest players, everyone who's good respects him, and he's genuinely making music he loves. Can't hate. Although I'll always appreciate the really fast stuff, I listen to music. IE. I think Rusty Cooley is an amazing guitar player. I think Jeff Loomis or Jason Richardson are both very technical, and are better song writers. But maybe that's just taste.
