I hope there’s a side quest involving early film since France pioneered a lot of early film. Like side quests that involve you taking an early video camera and filming Pokémon out in the wild or maybe even filming around the city. Or allowing you to make your own short films with your Pokemon. Depending on the amount of freedom you’re given with a mechanic like that I could see it being really cool.

Although, it would be interesting that if this takes place in "the past," it'd be cool if Legends Z-A uses this opportunity to elaborate on the Battle Bond Phenomenon regarding Ash-Greninja
If we’re basing the events of the Legends games on when their real world counterparts happened (the Japanese colonization of Hokkaido and supposedly the redevelopment of Paris) They take place at about the same time. With Hokkaido being colonized by Japan in 1869 and Haussmann’s Renovation of Paris taking place between 1853 and 1870.
It specifies REdevelopment plan… who knows what that could mean
I was just as excited when i saw the trailer, as i too grew up watching the XYZ anime and since always loved kalos. Zygarde is my favorite legendary, and i've always liked megas, so im eager to see how this game turns out!

Zygarde is the most interesting Legendary Pokémon (because of its Cell gimmick). Its wonderful that they are finally going to make Pokémon Z. however i wonder which starter they are going to use for this game (i mean its a legend's game so they won't be choosing traditional gen6 starters i guess).
As a XY fan Anime and Game Manga I am so damn hype And happy man the games are finally going to get justice 😭

I’m still a kid and xy and xyz were my fav Pokémon shows from 6-9years old. Then I kinda left the community. I never played the game since I was to young up I loved the show. Sad they took it off Netflix but I will definitely buy z-a . Big W and I’m subbed

It's interesting that it's in Legends format; and interesting theories that are forming are possibly either taking place in the era of AZ's time when he was king during the the warring Kalos period OR due to despite being a Legends game but we have Cities & with the wording of Redevelopment & the art maybe Z-A might take place in the future!!!!!!!

i think it actually takes place in the future not the past the very specific wording of REdevelopment plan of lumiose city not development, the clothing being very modern, pokemon trainers being a common place unlike in legends arceus where there's almost no trainers, the company that sent the redevelopment plans being completely new company that was nowhere to be seen in xy, even the futuristic look of this teaser it almost look like it was taken straight out of tron, also the idea that legends arceus was set in the past then SV which is ofc set in the present and have past and future themes so legends Z-A taking place in the future makes a lot of sense in that context and there is just a lot of things that kinda hint about it being set in the future. legends dosen't have to be in the past future legends is a thing that exists also if the game does mostly or even entirely takes place within lumiose city the current lumiose city is not big enough for that maybe the redevelopment plan is 1. expanding lumiose city massively ofc and 2. building artificial biomes within the city which might be what they mean by "a vision of beautiful coexistence between pepoles and pokemon"
The buildings look more like 1900 type Paris, but hey only time will tell
