Forest is the largest ecosystem on land. China has a rich types of forests, where various rare species thrive in dramatic struggles for existence. In this episode, we can see the Papilio Helenus, fork-tailed sunbird and wasp fighting in the world’s largest virgin karst forest; the striking contrast between the beautiful appearance and the brutal killings of the Redstarts; the replacement of the monarchical power within the Francois’ langurs, the emergence of new life, the development of human-monkey relationships, and the Silver pheasants living in thickets. We will also come to the middle of China, where we record the world's most rare birds -Crested ibis’s stories about how they teaching and inspiring their children to fly. Finally, we will come to the northeast of China. Here we have the temperate coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest with the best natural condition and abundant biodiversity in the Northern Hemisphere. We will show the story of people collecting pinecones in the autumn and how the Manchurian tigers and ungulates living in winter. The people here are also learning share the nature’s gifts with others, making this forest become the home of all the residents.

  • 2:20 the worlds tallest tree is only a bit over 100 meters. Not what the intro said about a 200 meter tall tree. 34:27 said about "always lays two egg" is also false. Crested ibis lay 3-5 eggs. These can all be found by a quick Google search. Im sorry, i know youre just reuploading materials but this documentary was filled with misinformation.

    • "Walking in single file" while showing 2 separate files of people.... Also the pictures on the hidden camera are described as his "favorite moment of the day" but are showing picture from different seasons altogether... Not very professional.
