  • That Dame shot @ 13:52 Or maybe I should say that legendary series ending Dame shot @ 13:52 was a thrilling moment in franchise history, by the greatest player in franchise history. (IMO and many others opinions for that matter) Unfortunately we did nothing with the gift Dame gave us. First round win is it. It has been a rough 42 years of being a Blazers fan. Had a lot of very good (IMO) teams assembled here only to see them continuously underachieve. Seen a lot of players with “potential” some players labeled as “projects” with “raw talent” not pan out but move on to other teams to finally come into their own. And as many know about the Blazers “curse” or “bad luck” of the injury bug when it comes to high profile top draft picks such as Sam Bowie, Greg Oden or even Brandon Roy to name just a few of the “CANT MISS” guys that were going to be Franchise saviors. Guys that were supposed to finally get us to the Promise land since we haven’t been there since 77. But things did not pan out as they were (so called) supposed to. I’m beginning to ramble so I digress but without going completely off the rails I just want to state with all the massive underachievement, the collapses (Blazers v Lakers series) and the Bad luck among many other things that kept us from finally matching what the 77 team did. It has been rough, it has been sad, it had been massively disappointing among a lot of other emotions BEING A PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS FAN. But in saying that I will never root against them. I ride with em, I die with em.

    • The Portland Trail Blazers' struggles are Alot. thankfully, Dame's departure led him to seize an opportunity in Milwaukee. Despite naysayers, Dame remains a top-tier point guard. To Improve, the Blazers must surround themselves with seasoned veterans boasting playoff and finals experience. Best of luck, and may your team innovate for success.
