  • This man was the real brains behind Apple, Jobs just pretended to be the genius. Wozniak should be getting the majority of the recognition for creating Apple. Jobs didn't even do jack when it came to developing the original Apple hardware and OS. Sadly this man is clearly an eccentric with the airs of a classic dork; I doubt he even gives a damn that he stood in the shadow of Jobs. Huge respect for him.

    • +wercide Complete BS. Wozniak was nervous about running a company but he had the intellect to make it happen. Jobs was dumb enough to be confident about running a company so he convinced others he could do so. We often forget that Apple has been in many dire straits. Each time Apple dug itself out was nothing to do with jobs but a new engineer bringing them a product.

      @absojake@absojake8 жыл бұрын
    • wercide I didn't say Jobs "didn't do anything"; I was referring to his interaction with actual Apple product design, which was non-existent. And yes, there is no doubt Jobs had a real knack for marketing. But other than that, the man was kind of a douche who pretended he knew jack about engineering. There is a 100% certainty that Apple could not have existed without Wozniak; I'm not so sure about Jobs though. There're tons of marketing geniuses out there.

      @MikhailKalashnikovMiG@MikhailKalashnikovMiG8 жыл бұрын

    • +samuel erneston that's a bit of an understatement. Good salesman? His company is one of the richest on the planet and another little company he got going, Pixar, that's still doing quite well too ;) Steve sums himself up well. He's an engineer and a damn good one. Apart from the work on the earliest Macs Steve had almost nothing to do with all the Apple products we know today. So what Steve isn't and he admits he isn't is a visionary. Jobs was a visionary. That's what he'll be remembered as. Not a "good salesman" haha

      @ClayMann@ClayMann8 жыл бұрын
    • Clay Mann What's wrong with good salesman? Salesmanship isn't understatement. All am saying is job isn't the inventor. It's a sin to compare him to Tesla or Edison. Everybody can have visions or ideas. Job was lucky because he got a remarkable team to support his ideas, like Steve.

      @Mrsomewhatevil@Mrsomewhatevil8 жыл бұрын

Either through sheer ignorance or hate for the man All you're saying is? Dude, I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of your mouth after your first comment and the nonsense that is your second. I really don't need a lecture from you about who Steve Jobs was. I've followed both these guys in the media since the first Apple computer. Yeah I'm that old. • If you want to give credit to apple success it is This man, and maybe 10 percent to Jobs. Theres a cool book called Fire in the valley and it explains that Wozniak built the machine but Jobs was the virtuoso salesman, nothing more nothing less.

    • you are SO wrong. you are wrong. apple did not take off ONLY because of woz...if it wasn't for Steve jobs, Woz's products wouldnt have been anywhere close to how successful and widely known they are today. You are completely wrong. Woz and Jobs deserve 50-50 importance. understand?
