On a canon power scale, Tanjiro would be a 500k, being on par with Tomioka, since Tanjiro does not have the same talent as his father or Yoriichi when it comes to using sun breathing. Plus he didn't have enough time to completely master his breathing.
Idk but maybe the ranking is according to the manga and the scale was based on DK Tanjiro I could be wrong tho

I’m pretty sure Giyuu is 3rd he’s above Obanai in many factors such as Speed and Strength also breathing form and technique
Giyuu is stronger. Feats wise among other things, prove he is above obanai in terms of physical stats, as well as having been a hashira for longer, meaning more experience and skill.

Hear are my reasons why giyuu is on 3rd place not obanai: 1.giyuu survived against akaza and muzan. 2.giyuu also managed to hold back demon king tanjiro. 3.giyuu had unlocked the demon slayer mark making him stronger and having enhanced speed making him stronger and faster than obanai. 4.even obanai also got the demon slayer mark which enhanced his natural agility giyuu is still stronger.
