This is probably the first Tundra review from Kyle since roughly 2010
It has t changed that much during that generation running from 2007- 2021
Why do i have a feeling that SaabKyle04 bought the Tundra he reviewed in this video
I would agree with you. Temp tag and he already has the Toyota app on his phone.
I feel like he would mention it like he has in his previous vehicles.
Great review, Kyle! This is a very luxurious truck!
You’ve always been the best car reviewer out there! Been following you for years !
The start up sound is cool!
awsome videoo kyle i am really likeing the new tundras they really steped up over the years and really likeing what they have to offer thumbs up and shared
Love this guy👍👍
U R the Best Kyle !!!
Now my truck to buy!
I love your videos a lot
These have stunning two tone leather interiors exclusive to Capstone models
Another *FANTASTIC* review, Saaby. Toyota should now gift you the truck, I've seen no better advertising than they do or that many others have done. Top to bottom with great details & information.👍🏼 I'm not into trucks, but now that may change. 😁
Saaby?
Review so awesome, makes me want one. Grill is ridiculously huge. Exterior is fitting for a truck , interior is like wearing a tuxedo to work on a construction site. Needs old v8, trucks need to be durable over all else. What would be v8’s mpg? 16? Stupid epa/greenie gov.
Wow capstone❤❤
It seems like Kyle bought this truck recently, which if so, Congratulations! I was skeptical of the new Tundra because of the new engine and I wasn't really the biggest fan of the design. However, my opinion has changed over time. I've seen a lot of them here in Texas and they look good, no matter what trim you go for. I understand the frustration with the new V6 engine, but as we always do, we have to accept and adapt to the times. Yes you can still buy a certified pre-owned Tundra with the V8 and still get the safety features and tech upgrades that it got, but this new model is simply better. Good review (so far) as always, Kyle!
In my opinion you were one of the first youtuber of all youtube
Fiu fiu Toyota Tundra, super car
New Tundra looks cool
One of best trucks from Toyota I can afford.
Those are really nice trucks, I really want one but they’re too expensive
I plan on getting the 2024 Tacoma Limited I-FORCE MAX non hybrid regular engine. Pls do a review Kyle.
Would be nice with the TRD Pro.
I have the 1794 Edition, love it. (Yes, I know the Capstone is right above the 1794) I don't regret it. Given that I commute to work pretty much 5 days a week, gas is pretty well.
JBL is the best Toyota inversion. Sound a lot better that some fancy names 😊
The grille is too big on this truck. Ford and Dodge do it perfectly. The new Tacoma that's coming out has a more good looking front end.
Yeah but does the engine still blow up before 50K? Turbos too??
This sounded exactly like my Tacoma when he started it 😫
Hi there.
Amazing car bad without V8!
Yea like, why did the Toyota have to remove the v8, this made many hard workers upset
Sure, V8 better and bigger and more funny agreed?
@@Malador101 yep
Thanks man😁!
Awesome!!!!!! "Get 2.49% APR financing on new Camry, RAV4, Highlander, or the all new Tundra! Toyota! Let's Go Places!"
Pickup Truck Man!
It compares with the Ram 1500
The black and white interior is a no go. Too bad it's the only color combo available on the Capstone.
Ain’t a real Tundra n e more without them dual tehr-bah-chardgurs
its not his first tnundra review he started back in 2008
The Tundra has a strange startup sound.
I hope that's not artificial engine noise piped in through the speakers. I can't stand that and wish manufacturers would get rid of that.
They look ok but no v8 is a let down ...and then that rear bumper is a joke all that plastic and plastic Chrome all snapped together they should have kept it simple and just keep it steel
After having extensive experience with the 6.2L V8's in GM's trucks, I'd have to admit this setup is better overall in pretty much every way. I've always been a V8 truck guy too, but man, you just can't argue with the capability of this setup. More power, over 120 lb/ft of additional torque, better fuel economy, designed to run on regular 87, large capacity fuel tank. It's a sweet setup.
@Saabkyle04 you can't argue about that brother
@@bigsmith7349 even with the hybrid it’s still not fuel efficient. Tbh the mpg is no better than the ford 2.7 or the ford powerboost hybrid and thr f150 hybrid has a very similar hybrid design to this. And the diesel engines in those trucks are significantly more efficient
3.5 tt v6 it is better than 5.7 v8
Toyota made big mistake getting rid of the 5.7 liter and replacing it with this garbage of an engine. The 5.7 v8 was one of the best v8 engines of all time. They were power houses and were overbuilt.
That’s every Toyota now that used the V8, includes the Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Lexus LX and GX.
This "garbage" of and engine has been relentlessly tested my Toyota R&D department and proven to be very reliable. While I would rather have a V8 in a truck. I'm fine with my Platinum hybrid
@@MacDaddyC7Z06 but will it outlast the 5.7? Probably not. Here’s a tip, watch Scotty Kilmer, and he will prove to you that it’s unproven technology and how horrible of a design it is.
@jameslee2680 I agree the 5.7 is a bulletproof motor. But the new V6 was designed and been tested by a lot smarter people than Scotty.
@@MacDaddyC7Z06 Only time will tell. Yea a hybrid V6 gets 19 miles a gallon when you can get at or similar to that a naturally aspirated V8. So much for engineering. Hybrid technology that is unproven and will break faster and cost more to fix then a normally aspirated V8 or V6 which will outlast the hybrid system and the twin turbo v6.
It's a v6
All those nice features and upgrades, all that nice looking trim and style… And you can’t get it with a V8???? Uh, I’m sorry, but if I’m gonna drop $70K+ on a pickup, then I think it damn-well ought to include a V8 as an option. That’s absolutely RIDICULOUS.
Ridiculous
According to the car care nut, the build quality, fit and finish are really bad.
Idk who that is, but I thought it was awesome.
@@saabkyle04 he’s a Toyota technician. Check him out. He’s really good
The new tundra looks gross. Give me a nice first gen
gross
ford is better
Agreed. In fact anything is better than the tundra
