Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury was signed, scheduled, and finalized but Fury backed out. It was planned all along, sign the contract to sell wolf tickets but make Fury pull out two weeks before the date to get Tyron as replacement, in hopes to go catch him off guard. Same thing happened with Pacquiao vs Spence, promoters sold wolf tickets but had Spence pull out to be replaced by Ugas, to catch Ugas without full training camp for an easy retirement fight for an old Pacquiao. Pacman wouldn't really fight Spence right now and get smacked bad, the announcement was to make him look good but cancellation was planned to have a replacement fighter that they were hoping was not fully trained for the fight.
