Yods speed and power has gone. He's not what he used to be. Love him though... Absolute legend. Grew up with his fights over the years.
I don't think he has lost anything... The main problem is that Petch is a very intelligent, genetically gifted and skillful fighter... Yod was maybe a bit too confident in this fight and didn't adapt to Petch's strategy; it wasn't Yod's smartest fight.

The Fairtex colors works so well, not sure why but it looks great.
I have to admit that I saw Khun Yodsanklai as the winner of this bout...
So did both the figthers because he kept he's posture and was in control which would usaly make him the winner.. but in this international high level Brand bouts they are judging by number of strikes and knockdowns which is like judging by effort instead of result

Yeah, tough one. Yod never really looked in trouble there but at the same time didn't switch up his tactics, especially with all the catches. At the same point, Petch looked like he was just trying to win by decision and wasn't really engaging. Yod I think had 1 and 5, Petch 2 and 4 (just by clinching) and 3 was evens. On aggression Yod won, on tactics Petch. Run in back!!!
@Pauly Dryhurst which is why I said he won round 5. Problem in the wightvwas petch holding him up and not letting him get into rhythm.....that and yod not adapting with all those catches

@@mukherjeepratip25 when I say striking organization mate, I'm referring to their muay Thai in 4oz gloves plus their kickboxing aswell. MMA is easily ufc but honestly couldn't give less of a hsit about grappling, I've tried it, I've tried watching it and it just doesn't entertain me bro.

If I am to be honest I'm not even a big mma fan, I boxed for 9 years so that's the bread and butter for me. This is going back to tapout era of ufc. I just find the striking elements of combat sports far more entertaining to view. Nice usage of the word casual tho bud 👍🏻

Punches don’t score as much as kicks
Its not about who hits more or attack more, but who hits better, controls better the fight and looks fisically better in the end of fight. Then, Petch hits better along the fight and controls better. Fair win.

He visto la pelea 5 veces y en todas veo ganar a Yodsanklai. Tuvo el tren de la pelea casi todo los Rounds, por no decir todos. Sólo le doy el 4to Round a Petchmorakot que lo ganó notablemente. Pero los demás en definitiva a Yod. Petchmorakot arrancó en el 4to Round, golpeando y amarrando para no continuar, lo hizo un poco en el último round, pero inclusive el 5to se le ve con más intención de pelear a Yodsanklai y conecta muchas más patadas. El campeón se dedicó a retroceder toda la pelea y amarrar cuando pudo. REMATCH!!!
Petchmorakot ganhou os 5 rounds....anulou o chute esquerdo do yondsanklai...o atingia sempre linpamente por cima da guarda...fingia um chute e acertava a cabeça do fair tex...conectava 2 ,3,4 ou 5 golpes e depois fazia o Clinch pra evitar o ataque do fair tex....lutador inteligente....pechmorrakot wins!!!!

Yod won that fight. He had rounds 1, 4 and 5, for sure. 3 was close, 2 was for the guy avoiding the fight, hugging and being out of breath. Clinching and hugging are different things. Yod got robbed here.
No, that is Muay Thai, not kickboxing. Clinching and hugging is a part of the game.

@@patryka11 yes, I do fight Muay Thai. What you are saying basically, is that if the referee doesn't pull them apart, it is allowed. I agree the referee should have stepped in sooner. What shouldn't happen is that they reward that kind of behavior with a victory.
@@spiketrademark1099 I also train Muay Thai but no Pro, just a few years and truth is I do not know. I would like Yod to win. No reason, I just like him more. However once a MT referee told me that in MT they score differently than in KB so they count only visibly strong attack. Petch was going back often but only he is more counter attack fighter and his attacks were not often but visibly stronger. In my humble opinion 1 and 3 for Yod and 2 strongly for Petch and 4,5 lightly for Petch. We have different view even though I would prefer Yod to win. Great fighters both though.

Muay Thai judging favors more aggressive and forward-moving fighters, that's why people are disputing it. But Petch looked better to me too, excluding that factor.

Hes hit a wall sadly. Speed is gone. Reaction time is not there. Remember when his left kick used to sound like thunder? He has aged.. hes fought SO MANY wars. Absolute legend.. but should consider taking a break or retiring. Love Yod forever.
