    • Mpg of those cars won’t let me get them, fuel prices are high and I would not want to be on the merci of the government. 35 mpg like the highlander would be nice but 20 mpg is just to low. The highlander doesn’t has a useable 3 row unfortunately so that’s out of question as well. The same amount of people fit in a Mini Cooper like in the highlander. Only if the grand highlander would come through, I would think about it to buy it. With a spacious 3 rd row and 35 mpg.

  • Personally I would choose the PRO, but the wife would be happy with a SR5 with the TRD sport package just like the lunar rock …looks great for an entry level

    • It had better for that price. You could buy 6 , used low mileage 1st gen sequoia Ltds for the price of this base sr5, and they have leather, seat 8 ppl, full time 4wd Center lock diff, removeable 3rd row, 4.7l v8, and roll down rear glass. Think about that for a moment….

    • @@user-tb5ns7hc5i why would I need 6 old sequoias that may or may not have rust, mechanical, etc. issues that may or may not be reported. Not to mention the gas guzzling V8, lack of modern technology and safety. Sorry pal, you’re not really making a good case.

    • @@AA-vr8ez you must be a millennial. Lol. My point is that’s it super expensive. Sure it has tech and is luxurious, but it better be for this ludicrous price. An older used Sequoia is a fraction of the price, and in many ways, a more capable and still quite comfortable vehicle with a lot of still very reliable features. It’s a Toyota! Imagine what you could buy or invest in with the savings. Or some really nice vacations. Lol.

  • Great review, I’m glad they made the sequoia basically a tundra with a hardtop 3rd row suv. I’m more into the Tacoma , rav4, 4Runner, but this suv is looking good.

  • Fantastic and very informative video, Jeff! This side-by-side comparison is a must-see for any potential buyers. Limited seems to look the best (and balanced) to me. I know the prices are insane, but I will bite the bullet this time and get one. With the current inflation rate, it won't surprise me Tundra, Tahoe and Expedition will reach $100k soon.

    • I have a 2014 SR5 4runner and can fit 3 car seats in my second row, the sequoia would fit them even better but I’d say it would definitely fit 3!

  • I like the Capstone interior, but would prefer a Tan/Black combo instead of White/Black on those seats/arm rests. That White will show dirt/oil over time.

  • Do we know why there are front mud flaps on the lux trims and not the TRD and SR5? can you choose to not have them on the platinum and Capstone? My struggle is when you live in the north with a lot of snow, you end up "ploughing snow" with the front mud flap, as it just doesn't give a lot of road clearance.

  • You didn't mention which trim gets the heated and ventilated seats in the back; Can I order build the TRD PRO with bench seats that includes heat and ventilated seats or is that only with captain seats. Does TRD Pro gets this option because I didn't see the buttons there on the one there. Please we need a clarification because am thinking to order one. Thanks for the review

  • Tell me if I’m wrong but if I get a limited 4x4 with the trd off-road package, panoramic sunroof, tow technology package, and JBL premium audio… wouldn’t I be very close or over the price of a trd pro? The trd pro has all this standard with the exception of the panoramic. All this to get a 2nd row bench seat... Toyota I may just wait till you make a 2nd row bench in the PRO to buy.
