Images and videos of the protests that have rocked Iran for weeks have been shared around the world on social media.
The unrest was sparked following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after being detained by Iran’s morality police.
But what Iranians see of the protests on state TV is quite different to what is being shared on social media, as the government tightly controls what appears on it.

Some say they hate saudi. Some say they are atheists and follow western culture and call it freedom. Some are going back to the Zoroastrian beliefs. This Woman Mahsa Amini, was reported to have had her head hit with a baton, and head hit against a vehicle, and later fell unconscious, then into a coma, and it is being stated that she died of natural causes???
