i'm going out on a limb here and guessing there is time traveling involved in this season, thus explains why they are using clips from past seasons, it makes sense if you think about it, how else are they supposed to save hopper not like they can fly to Russia and take them down so time traveling is their best bet, also the duffer brothers have said something about time traveling when interviewed about season 4!!!

I cried when Jim Hopper died and 11 read the note. I'm actually extremely happy he somehow survived and will be in every episode of season 4. When you go on stranger things it says "It's Official: Another Season is coming" But for On My block it says "Final Season coming soon." my theory is that the fact that el loses her powers because of the mind flayer and will has a connection with it, maybe Will will get to use El's powers because when the car on fire with the person walking away from it could be Will who just used his powers to flip the car. When mike says it is almost here in the video it sounds like young mike and it is from the end of season 1 when he's playing D&D with his friends, mike refers to the Thessalhydra which is a monster in the game and Dustin suggests to beat it with a fire balls, So maybe the Thessalhydra is the monster they have to kill and maybe the reason why Hopper has a flamethrower is probably to either weaken the Thessalhydra or possibly kill it.

It is pretty ridiculous tbh. While the episodes will probably be long, there aren't gonna be many and S5 will literally probably come out in, like, 2024. If we're lucky. Regardless, you'd think they'd have a little more loyalty to the fans lmao Oh, and to everyone saying "oH, dIdN't YoU kNoW tHeRe WaS a PaNDEMIC???", YES. I OBVIOUSLY am aware and have considered that. However, they chose to delay the recording of the next season until 2020 (from what I understand), and therefore it's their fault as well as the pandemic's that they hadn't filmed it yet. Instead of accusing people of ignoring the obvious, maybe consider that they DID pay attention instead of making yourselves look like tools by being complete hypocrites? It doesn't take long to film a show; they'd have been long done by the time the pandemic started ffs

And did you miss where I said that Covid delays are the reason it took 3 years? They started filming in early 2020 but had to stop in March. It’s not a normal show either it has a big budget each season, it’s bigger every season.

my theory is that the fact that el loses her powers because of the mind flayer and will has a connection with it, maybe Will will get to use El's powers because when the car on fire with the person walking away from it could be Will who just used his powers to flip the car.
