Smokey engines will be a thing of the past when the B52`s get RR`s F130`s. They will transform this aircraft with a much needed efficiency & reliability boost while extending the service life of this terrific aircraft.

@@timothykissinger4883 You think correct, RR bought Allison Engine Company in Indianapolis, IN in 1995. I believe that`s where RR will build F130`s.

The pre-Golf models with their tall tails and blister less snouts were sheer beauty. Perfect lines.

They often tend to fly when there’s plenty of cloud cover. A trained ear can obviously tell when it’s them 😃👍
