Anyone else notice that the Hitmon clan's new names all reference the martial arts each bending style are based on? Tai chi, Baguazhang, Shaolin Kung Fu and Hung Gar! The creator has put in a lot of thought for this map!

I've seen this fakemon region on DevianArt prior to your reactions, but nevertheless a fun region similar to your Neous region being based in a different animated series. Froopy Art did a region that was based around Jurassic Park, a very in-depth fan region.

i love fact that Tyrouge evo tree not only refrences four elements but also names of regional evolutions refrence martial arts that were inspiration for Element: Waterbending is based on Tai Chi, Earthbending is based of Hung Gar, Firebending is based on Northen Shaolin Kung Fu and Airbending is based on Baguazhang
Those are some really cool designs. The only thing I would change is the spirit type. While the spirit pokemon look great, it would be very difficult to balance and a region-exclusive type is NOT a good idea in my opinion. Instead, I would make spirit pokemon a category similar to the paradox pokemon in S+V. Their uniting feature wouldn't be their type, but certain design features and their special ability (like photosynthesis/quark drive for the paradox pokemon) which would allow them to switch between a "calm" form and a "rage" form, just like spirits in Avatar can appear differently depending on whether they are at peace or enraged

All of these mons are really good! But I think my team would be... Konaceros, Camerupt (Avaterran form), Cyclaimur♀, Florossal, Platisine, and Gossisaur Wanted to make sure I got one from each tribe and a few of my favorites.
Lieutank could probably represent Lu Ten, Iroh son who died in the Earth Kingdom. Though this could probably be a stretch.
I think the penguin seal pokemon should have been an ice type
They're the embodiment of swimming, and are adaptable to non-frozen environments (both from the Penguin and Otter halves of the equation they're migratory to cold and warm waters). Most Ice types in the wild NEED to be in cold locations to survive. Think of all the alternate Ice type regional forms that can no longer live like they used to after adopting their new environment. ...Now, still coulda had room for a different secondary typing, though.

A pokemon region based off on Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra is legit cool as it was one of my favorite tv series growing up. This was a fun treat. My team would consist of: Ostallion, Cyclaimur, Shraith, Captank, Gorilloth, and Gossisaur.

I usually go for the Fire Starter, but i love Dog too much, loved Naga, so Water it is! (I am Earth, so i was kinda dissapointed that they didnt change the Starter Line to 4) Le-Le Yamask Spirit Type Magicarp -> Livianagi Hitmongar Fawline Cawrire, Igluttana, Swinia, Shwado, Slashu, Buflurry, Glaceal, Dracutie, Piglite, Cubble, Terratore(!), Calfie, Nickit!!!!, Moncalf, Hunture, Quacutie, Varokuna, Nimbusin, Lio-Terra. Korra had really good sides too.
The Grass Starter is the Earth rep (which was my choice), and then the Air Nomads are all dead. A super speedy Grass/Ground 'mon with good attacking stats would be so useful in real gameplay.

For my region, the early bird will be Flerrow. Its name comes from fly and arrow. With a fire stone, it evolves into Flarcher. The fire archer pokemon! With a thunder stone, it evolves into Elecher, the electric archer pokemon! And they both get new forms that are like megas but instead its called dream forms! It swaps or adds a typing of a pokemon! I'm not sure what either of their dream types should be tho, any suggestions?

This region looks epic avatar is one of my favorite shows but I kinda feel that this region lack 3 certain pokemon based on important animals in the show 1st a furret regional form being a fire and normal type based on pabu bolin pet and the fire ferrets mascots team 2nd a pokemon named bosbear the friendly bear pokemon based on bosco the normal bear which is also why it will be the normal typing 3rd a pokemon based on koizlla Maybe in a extension part based on republic city were you have a small tournament based on probending were you use 3 pokemon who are water, fire and rock typing 3 evil teams who are basen on the equalists the red lotus and one based on unalaq and the people who support him in his attempts to release vatu Your guide is tenzin And more

The introduction of spirit type has inspired ed me to think of making pokémon and region based off of Bleach.
If I can only have one partner it's Perowler. My mascot for sure. Starter is Polursine, if I can find a shiny Saberius it's going on the team, but other than that I'm finishing out my roster with Cyclaimur, Decacast, Acecipitaur, and Glaceal. Maybe replacing Cyclaimur with a Nimbuson in the late game. Or picking it instead of Glaceal if I really want to keep to an airbending theme. Penglide and Heibear would absolutely be on the team, but I'm not as fond of their evolutions so I'd probably just keep them around as long as they're viable without evolving.
Ghost type is best I'll fight anyone who tries to tell me otherwise Actually I like all types but ghost is my favorite

The Polursine line is the best designed starter for this region in my opinion so it was hard not to choose That being said my team is: Konaceros, Decacast, Florossal, Cyclaimur, Gyrados, and Shraith. Subs are Sabreak, Gossisaur, Varokuna

The original designs are great but a lot of designs seemed to be pulled directly for the source Material without changing anything about the design. For example when that panda evolves it just looks like the spirit instead of being based on that spirit. Or the Magikarp evo. That’s my only critique.
