You should put glass around the wheat! Like a green house, so that the "Space-environment" doesn't dry the wheat out.

once doc opens his shop, you should use silence with netherite to make it an even better flex. or you could just ask hypno, he has it too.
Played around a bit with trims, the combo of wayfinder-helm, snout-chest, sentry-legs, silence-boots looks pretty space suity. Could of course just go with silence all the way for a stronger trim which is quite neat, but not so sure that looks more like a space suit. It did make for a nice heavy looking boots though.

Random thought on beacon shop shenanigans. Find people with Iron, Gold, etc. permits and set up special "Beacon Bundles" which give a beacon with the associated desired blocks for the three layers. Split profits with corresponding hermit and track results - could be interesting to see what beacon blocks hermits choose when they can acquire the whole thing along with their beacon purchase. Anywho, just random thought felt like sharing. Enjoy your trip!

I’m really loving how your base area looks like it just sort of landed down from another planet on this world and it’s slowly infecting the terrain around it. It kinda makes me think of the first mass effect game near the beginning when you’re out stalking the first big enemy you fight!
Protip for bed blasting: you can reduce the damage to you if you have blocks between you and the bed, clicking on just a sliver of the bed in the hole.
I am so into the whole alien planet idea, it's so damn cool! Can't wait to see it expand more!

As long as atmosphere is poisonous, it would be logical to make a greenhouse/glass canopy for the wheat field. With a white block outline for style, of course.

I also like using the Bed method, it's quite fun. I like to take the crafting table with me and craft 5-6 beds at a time, saves running back.

Method I learned long ago for netherite mining is leave one row of blocks ahead of you, remove the block below you and set a slab. Then click the bed. Minimal damage.

You could use brown carpet and hide torches under the ground and then it would give your terrain a little bit more of a pop of color, but it also would keep with the whole terrain look
