To give perspective; driving in a car swerving through traffic and going as fast as possible during rush hour traffic (which it looked like he was in) you won’t be able to shave minutes off. If you’re lucky max 1-2 minutes. Being in his motorcycle and being able to not have to stop in traffic since he can split lanes prolly a minute a mile when he wasn’t driving fast. So 22 minutes on the safe side, then you have him ripping it up back and splitting cars while maintaining high speed, he prolly did less than 30 seconds a mile. So less than 11 minute drive during rush hour. I live in the same city as him and a 22 mile drive is 35 minutes when there is no traffic

  • I'm 53. Did this through late '80s and '90s. Lots of wheelies, frequent chases. Never caught. Easy & fun, right? I'd still be called an aggressive driver by most. This made me cringe and think about how lucky I am to have all my parts, all working. You are smooth, and seem to have good instincts about what other drivers will do, but were still often committed to a certain line which could be closed by one dumb driver realizing they are about to miss their exit. At 180...264 feet per second..a driver, even one attempting to be attentive (which seems to be rare), could "know" they had just visually verified that the path to dart to the exit is clear, then...body parts everywhere. I never liked lanesplitting much, limited my high speed fun to two lane backroads. Twisty ones in abundance around here. But even in twisties, 120 from corner to corner is easy...past all those driveways with people pulling out, trying to not spill their coffee. I avoided some crashes by high speed off road excursions on sport bikes. Most memorable was going through a few yards after blowing a corner on a 1986 VF1000R. Look that up- the "-R" is pretty rare. I was a Honda mechanic and was on a test ride. Not at all meant for being sideways on grass. The missed corner was a right hander, so this meant I also crossed the oncoming traffic. (None present) At the time, I thought I was pretty good for not crashing it. I think now the outcome was a great deal of luck, a little skill. That crap happened often. Tankslapper jumping railroad tracks on a sport bike? Yeah...I'm so cool. Goldwings can do wheelies? Yup. You are still in the "it's all me, brah!" stage. I hope you make it through intact. Keep in mind that some not-so-good people are going to be encouraged to do the same crap. KZhead is bad this way. My stories were probably thought to be exaggerations by some people. Idiot swerved into my lane trying to scare me when he saw me coming down the road. Both of us running about 55 mph = times 2 = 110 mph. Totaled both vehicles and knocked me out (no helmet) crushed my leg and I was on crutches with a black leg (I’m white) and also had to have plastic surgery on my face. I went over the truck and almost went through a barb wire fence. I don’t trust other drivers. I do my fast riding on open backroads. Safer and less cops.

    • @@kazvstyin my personal experience the 600rr will be twitchy bro. Be careful with that throttle. You should at least rent a 400 to rip around and get some experience. Sure some people say “I’ve started on a hayabusa and didn’t die” but please be cautious of how unforgiving that amount of power is. A 400 is more forgiving meaning you can do mistakes and get away with it, with a 600 not so much. Not trying to scare you but yeah throttle is twitchy as fuck. Be safe broski
