    • Thanks, Justin! No better time than now! Maybe don't quit your job all at once, but I bet you could start making plans for your future that will involve more time doing what you love, and less time working at a job you wish you could quit ;) Good luck out there!

  • Y’all produce hands down the best fishing content and content overall for that matter. Really hope you guys put more of your work out there. I know funding, time, resources, etc can be a struggle, but honestly if you aren’t doing it for us (your fans), do it for y’all to look back on. Peace and love

    • Thanks, Havard! Tell all your friends about us and help us grow our following :). I don't know that we're underrated so much as we are just bad KZheadrs. We upload slowly and sporadically, but it's just the way we work. It's a slow burn, but starting to get more eyeballs on our stuff. Every little bit helps!

  • *Hey y'all! Its been a while since we've uploaded here. Rest assured, it's because we've been hard at work completing our latest feature, "Big Land". It's gunna blow everything else we've done out of the water, but will require a little patience before it's released. For now, we figured it was time we finished up this long lost conclusion to our "Notes From The Road" series from 2017. It was a lot of fun doing this type of stripped down visual diary. Let us know in the comments what you think and if you'd like to see more like it going forward!*

    • A couple months! It won't go straight to KZhead, unfortunately though. We ended up in significant dept on that project, despite the successful funding campaign. We'll be selling the film for a super affordable price in the beginning to try and recoup some cash. We'll post trailers with info on here, and it'll eventually make its way here for free if you can be patient enough. Otherwise we'll direct you to where you can snag it sooner!

    • @@jonathanpounds2953 thank you! We always get super stressed thinking about selling our work. The demand for free content is so high. Anyway, follow along, this is our biggest undertaking yet and we'll be spamming everyone once its released. There'll be no way to miss it ;)

I hope your transport situation is resolved before this forthcoming season, and look forward to your next posting.

    • Thanks! All you gotta do is start planning your next trip today. Next thing you know it you'll be there. We may be super broke (and are lucky enough to be in a position to survive that way) but we wouldn't trade our scrape-by lifestyle in the outdoors for anything. It's not for everyone, but I think we all find excuses to spend less time doing what we love. I've got a feeling you'll be enjoying that coffee in one of those places sooner than you think ;)

    • Aw thanks dude. We put a lot of time into the sound design. It's all just attention to detail and repetition. I have a degree from film school and have been making films for 20 years. You see all the accumulated knowledge in every film we make. Theres no secret other than time spent. Everything you make your learning one or two new things. Just go back and watch an old video you made and I'm sure you'll be able to spot the progress. You'll get there for sure.

    • This is Yellowstone National Park, there is absolutely no harvest of native species aloud.

      @TightLoops@TightLoops5 жыл бұрын
    • @@TightLoops That's like two species. Rainbows, brown, and lake trout are harvestable. Apparently you even have to kill any lake trout you catch. I'm not hating, just made me sad to see you eating out of a bag.

      @Devilock79@Devilock795 жыл бұрын
    • Devilock79 Yeah I understand what you’re saying, but this was all in the northeast corner of the park, which is a pure native Yellowstone cutthroat fishery, and you can see in the film that’s all we caught. You also aren’t aloud to kill rainbows, browns brookies or lakers in the majority of the parks waters, they are also strict catch and release. The only place you’re allowed to harvest those fish is in the native trout conservation area, which is essentially Yellowstone lake, and the northeast corner Yellowstone tribs. In fact it’s required by law that you kill all non natives in the Lamar and its tributaries, even hybrid cuttbows. We’ve had to kill a number of them, and it’s always dicey making the call as to whether a cutthroat has any rainbow DNA in it. Used to be you had to release anything with a slash, but a few years back they changed it to be only pure cutthroat.

      @TightLoops@TightLoops5 жыл бұрын
    • @@Devilock79 all the super famous rivers (firehole, madison, gibbon< etc) you have to let everything go. They consider the population of wild trout there a major part of the parks heritage, and too naturalized to consider trying to eradicate them.
