You should definitely modify the Ironman helmet so that it can do everything a jet suit racer helmet can, then put it on when you are flying, cuz that would be awesome

Yall do know the helmet is made of metal, not plastic right? Also it can be reinforced if needed. So it can be possible with extra work.
Technically any protection is fine as long as it has been deemed safe. Which would require testing.

Many people claim that it is a real life iron-man , others theorize that it is Hacksmith but nobody knows while the flying man stops criminals under the name of 'Captain Steel ' 2025:' Because science' host Kyle Hill discovered in his working room a strange looking hammer. When he picked it , he suddenly became a strong alien-like being called 'Korsaur' 2026: KZhead's crazy theorist MatPat questions about the probability of superhumans in his video . After the video went out, he discovers that a small meteor crashed near his house . Suddenly , a strange liquid went up to him and transformed him into a cyborg . At the same time , FNAF king Markiplier volunteers for a space experience that is unbeknownst, a experiment. He was injected with a serum that made him stronger , faster and intelligent. With these powers ,Markiplier was declared the first super -soldier. 2027: Australian KZheadr Josiah 'Jazza' Brooks received a strange pencil from a unknown visitor . By touching it , this pencil gave him the powers of bringing to life his drawings . Impressed , he uses it to make amazing street art . 2028 : Elon Musk discovered a strange new matter . Waaaah now there is one thing we just don't realise his suit is probably gonna be confiscated by the government including any documents and blueprints and used for military purpose (assuming he does make a fully functional suit )
One thing id love to see is detachable jets that lock onto hip holsters when not flying for example, which frees up the arms for holding weapons or just general dexterity.

I just got an idea of how you could fly and its always been a dream of mine, make a wingsuit with jet engines that is more advanced that the current ones and harnesses the momentum so you could temporarily hover after gaining some velocity.

i might have said this before but i SO hope jet suit racing becomes a super mainstream thing because little drives technological development faster than competition and requiring a technology to be widely available like engine development way back when racing motor cars and boats first became a thing. suddenly, when people could get their hands on them and wanted to push them to the limits, everyone started innovating

I kinda have an idea that can be a possible design for your flying-like-iron-man project. Using combinations of jet engines and ducted fans. Its inspired from the gravity suit. The main jet engines are on the back, these engines are providing the main lift while the ducted fans (two on each arm) providing support and directional control.
That's how this works dude
What an amazing beautiful time to be alive we are at the Forefront of Technologies infancy and we get to watch it grow within the next 20 years and more I was born 1998 and jet packs and hoverboards and all the things that we have today even smartphones seemed so futuristic and impossible and it truly is amazing to see how much technological and Engineering advances we are making people like the hacksmith and gravity are going to be the companies that throw the world into the future

Something I've been wondering.... There's kinda info on it but.... What's the minimum thickness and strength needed for a wingsuit to function? Also what's better for agility at stunt level? If you had a light mini frame inside the wingsuit, more for compact function than support, strength or stability.... Does this just ruin the usefulness? Asking cause I'm trying to do some research and designing

Having boosters on your feet like iron man poses problems but, wearing a suit, if you had the suit lock around the knees and hips except in certain directions you might be able to pull it off.
