    • The first four lines of your comment, could be slightly included into the lyrics, to extend the song. Someone seems to think that she is singing “I wanna feel oppress….without rest” but it is “praise, without rest”, as the woman she is singing about was deemed to be an activist against oppression of any form. However, with the constant Sahara desert, other topography and treacherous terrain, plus its wildlife and historic slavery with exploitation of the land by some settlers; some people think the continent was exploited, for it’s resources by other continents and their inhabitants. Native indigenous populations & natural nomads/migrators were driven out or exploited & forced to live in appalling conditions, by those claiming the territory for themselves. I believe Jain was talking of South African and North African modern day issues and trying to get world leaders to stop this suffering (suffer action of a 1000 more), of sentient beings.
