Firpo played very well, James was excellent. Unlucky with first goal but Preston have to be the scruffiest side in the Championship, how they hadn't a few players sent off or seriously injured one of the Leeds player was supprising.

Ref was so strange, I thought they did very well first half, really trying to clamp down on all Preston's fouls, but then they COMPLETELY lost control of the game in the second half. It was clear Preston were only interested in fouls, time wasting and starting scraps, and he completely bottled it.

Yeah weird, on Sky they showed it close up and the keeper has his hand out and it hits his hand, stopping it going past. Comms made no deal of it, bizarre.

Atmosphere has been poor the past few games, fans have gone comparatively completely silent in a very short amount of time. Suspect it's got something to do with the struggle to catch up to nr 2 and the lack of incoming players, but don't know exactly what's going on in people's heads

@@Fourfingerssixtoesthe football is boring for the most part, honestly. Not sure if you watch the games fully but most of it is passing between the back four. We struggle to break teams down and only seem to score on the break or from fast turn arounds. We’re missing a pablo type of player to unlock defences but maybe Ritter/Gruev can be that. I also think it’s to do with more people coming to watch that haven’t been baptised. Older fans that used to come may be getting replaced by newer

My impression has definitely been that the lacking atmosphere trend has happened since the start of this season, but maybe it's gone on for longer than I've realised. Anyway, I'm not sure about Gruev's capability on the offense, but I think Rutter and Summerville got that little extra we need to push through defenses with their individual ability, and not just on the counter. My impression is actually that we're mainly lacking a reliable finisher in the box who can react to more of the numerous chances we create, and I sadly don't believe Bamford is our guy for that despite the recent good moments. I'm hoping Farke will at least try starting Piroe over Bamford soon, without switching Piroe and Rutter around position-wise like he did earlier in the season. But then again, switching Piroe and Bamford won't fix the problem with our tactics being shut down by low block teams. Wouldn't mind having a player like Sinisterra with deadly shots outside the box on the cut-in.

100% penalty, I don’t know how they have the nerve to complain about it, they were lucky the keeper wasn’t sent off for handball outside the area, the only reason they complained was it was so late in the game and they thought their dirty tactics had got them the draw, which would of been a total travesty, they got exactly what they deserved, feck all, total justice for once!

Piroe is the best finisher in the Championship. Ridiculous he hasn't been starting lately, not a Leeds fan at all but I can't wait to see him in the top flight, whether with Leeds or someone else.

He's an excellent finisher but doesn't really fit our style. He was a panic buy after we missed out on Cameron Archer, a much more versatile forward. Sadly, Bamford fits our system so much better but he's an awful finisher (apart from that freak wonder goal in the FA Cup). There's a reason PL clubs weren't already in for Piroe after 2 x 20+goal seasons with Swansea.

Previous seasons yes, this season less so, even Leeds fans have identified it as a problem. For the first 80 mins it was a library. The limbs were good when they got a winner but it would be for any team with a late penalty and ultimately when they are winning is not when the players need the fans atmosphere its for the rest of the game

One of the clearest penalties you will ever see. Ledson should have been given a 2nd yellow card for his protest, absolutely no respect for referees. If that level of descent is shown in rugby, the player would be off.

I don’t blame Preston for playing the way they did . Our team is worth about 50 million more than there’s. Quality wise they had to make it a rough game but a nice bit of karma at the end with the handball. Needed that as it was another one of them days we forgot how to score all the shots was so bad we should of scored 4 or 5 . MOT

Almost every single manager is a hypocrite after every game. If a Leeds player had handled to ball in the way the PNE player did and the referee didn't give a penalty then Ryan Lowe would be on TV raging at the decision. Under the rules, it was a penalty. End. Of. Debate.

Fantastic officiating today. Referee and his team spot on. Surprised didn't see a red card the way Preston lost there minds and grew so frustrated by there superior opposition. Leeds weren't at it today either but still dominated.

Not so sure. First half I thought the ref was quality, but second half he COMPLETELY lost control of the game. Preston lost their discipline entirely, time wasting constantly, and repeatedly got away with it, their keeper should have gone for a handball, and even the penalty I think felt a little soft. Great first half performance form the officials, AWFUL second half performance. Leeds were fine, not great but not poor, Preston were woeful, only interested in fouls and timewasting.

Leeds were unlucky. Preston should have finished the game with about 8-9 players. Keeper handled outside the box and got away with it, rugby tackle on James etc. Preston deserve to be playing in the Sunday League with all that fouling and time-wasting.

Piroe is the best finisher in the Championship. Ridiculous he hasn't been starting lately, not a Leeds fan at all but I can't wait to see him in the top flight, whether with Leeds or someone else.
He's an excellent finisher but doesn't really fit our style. He was a panic buy after we missed out on Cameron Archer, a much more versatile forward. Sadly, Bamford fits our system so much better but he's an awful finisher (apart from that freak wonder goal in the FA Cup). There's a reason PL clubs weren't already in for Piroe after 2 x 20+goal seasons with Swansea.
Preston should have had at least 3 red cards. and then the nerve to get upset at the ref at the end for making the right call. VAR would have given handball all day long
The Leeds fans are brilliant at getting in the other teams head, great atmosphere there this season
Previous seasons yes, this season less so, even Leeds fans have identified it as a problem. For the first 80 mins it was a library. The limbs were good when they got a winner but it would be for any team with a late penalty and ultimately when they are winning is not when the players need the fans atmosphere its for the rest of the game

One of the clearest penalties you will ever see. Ledson should have been given a 2nd yellow card for his protest, absolutely no respect for referees. If that level of descent is shown in rugby, the player would be off.

I don’t blame Preston for playing the way they did . Our team is worth about 50 million more than there’s. Quality wise they had to make it a rough game but a nice bit of karma at the end with the handball. Needed that as it was another one of them days we forgot how to score all the shots was so bad we should of scored 4 or 5 . MOT

Almost every single manager is a hypocrite after every game. If a Leeds player had handled to ball in the way the PNE player did and the referee didn't give a penalty then Ryan Lowe would be on TV raging at the decision. Under the rules, it was a penalty. End. Of. Debate.
Fantastic officiating today. Referee and his team spot on. Surprised didn't see a red card the way Preston lost there minds and grew so frustrated by there superior opposition. Leeds weren't at it today either but still dominated.

Not so sure. First half I thought the ref was quality, but second half he COMPLETELY lost control of the game. Preston lost their discipline entirely, time wasting constantly, and repeatedly got away with it, their keeper should have gone for a handball, and even the penalty I think felt a little soft. Great first half performance form the officials, AWFUL second half performance. Leeds were fine, not great but not poor, Preston were woeful, only interested in fouls and timewasting.

Leeds were unlucky. Preston should have finished the game with about 8-9 players. Keeper handled outside the box and got away with it, rugby tackle on James etc. Preston deserve to be playing in the Sunday League with all that fouling and time-wasting.
