I really do feel bad for George Fan. He created such an amazing masterpiece and now, he has no part in it. I really hope he returns in some way to the franchise, and can finally create the TRUE sequel he's alyways wanted to. Great to hear all his other opinions about PVZ in general, as well. Wonder what's next for the franchise...
Yeah, I think he just wanted Pvz to be 1 game like all other popcap games rather than be a whole franchise, while that did help in the long run it really killed the game and now it’s in a very dire state
Yes indeed I’m not gonna be that “EA bad PopCap good” kinda guy especially considering without EA Pvz would have probably not have gotten a sequel and the shooters definitely wouldn’t have happened however in recent times it feels like EA is going back to their favorite thing that being juicing whatever company/franchise of whatever amount of money they can before throwing it away I really hope that’s not the fate of Pvz but it looks like that’s a possibility unfortunately

It's even worse because now EA owns the franchise, so even if he wanted to regain ownership of the property through a lawsuit, it would be near impossible for him to win a legal battle against such a huge corporation.
If George Fan was still in PopCap, he would be the one to make PvZ an actual good franchise again without no issues. He is the G.O.A.T.

I honestly used to think the reason it was plants against zombies was because both of them come from the ground (in different ways of course, zombies coming out of graves in the dirt and plants sprouting in the dirt), plants being very connected with nature and very much alive despite their appearance, and the zombies being a freaks of nature and undead.
That’s similar to what I thought too, a theme of life and death

I agree with George about shooters. One of the reasons why I liked garden warfare so much was the lack of boring, generic war climates that are very overused
When this so called PvZ Sequel emerges im buying it and im going to get that 101% in less than 24 hours. This just goes to show how confident I am about how good of a game George can make.

Theres so much replayabilty and lore that mixes with all the games and its so creative and fun to play... sucks its the most overlooked game in the franchise, I hope Fan gets this game back, it could gane more players than GTA, "and with the boss mode cob plane in pvz gw2 like Fox Gamings mods", loads of people would play that game again

There was a pvz movie in development (Ideas stage) theres even concept art but the movie was scrapped IMO I’m glad they didn’t go with whatever style that is in the concept art as it feels to far from the original material but it would be cool to see a movie or tv show for pvz

@@RedheadGaming same also i must mention this be we almost had a pvz movie with DreamWorks and it was cancelled and for troll's one of the worst animated films i ever saw probably number 10 i mean if we we got a pvz movie then that could probably mean for a pvz2 movie witch it would probably be interesting and hopefully a pvz heroes movie i mean let's be honest a pvz heroes movie with that comic style would at least in my opinion be a masterpiece im really surprised that no one hasn't done a fanmade pvz movie

I feel like George was talking about ECLISE and not Reflourished as ECLISE's level progression is more similar to PVZ1 than Reflourished.

Naw, I'm thinking that George Fan was talking about Altverz, not Eclise. Altverz is more similar in gameplay to the 1st game than Eclise can ever dream of being. 😂😂😂
@@mr.illuminatirekter3213 ECLISE was known for having a similar level progression from PVZ while Altverz was it's own thing.
@@AnAnimatorsWorld To be fair though, Altverz is made for casual players, similar to PVZ1, and the progression in terms of obtaining plants, fighting new zombies, and learning level gimmicks is similar to PVZ1 too, plus the mini games being on levels 5 and 15 of each world, and massive zombie attacks being on levels 10 and 20 in each world as well. Also, the extra 10 levels in Altverz are similar to the extra levels in PVZ1, in that they're similar to the normal levels, but with new zombies, level gimmicks, and objectives. It's not really it's own thing considering everything I've mentioned. Eclise on the other hand, is, how do I put this. It's a bit of a different story. The difficulty is made for players experienced with PVZ1 and PVZ2, and some levels are hated because they poorly introduce plants, zombies, and level gimmicks. I'm looking at the levels "Punch Spits", "Punk Palace", and I'm looking at Bug Tiles, and Imp Porters. It doesn't help much that some intro levels make the plants' weaknesses super apparent and make them look bad. Now, yes, it does have progression similar to the 1st game, but the difficulty, poorly introduced level gimmicks, as well as certain zombies and/or level gimmicks added in the levels designed around certain plants just to make these plants look worse makes it not that approachable for casuals or beginners looking for a fun and fair challenge. I really don't want to get started on Warp Parties from Eclise, either, for obvious reasons.

Assuming that PVZ is a work made for hire, it will go into the public domain either in 2104 or 2129, depending on when it was created. Let's tell our grandchilden to make a better one than EA made
A lot of people seemed to forget/ignore the fact that George Fan wanted to leave the franchise after the first one was published so PopCap/EA's laying off of many workers was good for him

The only problem I have with PvZ3 is the plant cycling mechanic. If you could just choose, (and they added all plants from pvz2), the game would be better than 2 imo.

I feel like if george fan returns to pvz2 i think he should a dimention 2 Ex: if u click on the blue portal at the end once u beat every adventure level u will be put into dimention 2 that includes different eras from the previous worlds and remove oremium plants and seedium plants and make them grindable plants
