You're right Mohammed isn't prophesied in biblical scriptures. The Old Testament of the bible was in Hebrew because that was the language of Moses and those old testament writers. Jesus spoke Aramaic because that was the language of the localised area of Judea/ Syria at his time. Greek however was the main language of the Eastern Mediterranean from the times of Alexander the Greats conquest of the region from the 4th century BC to the 5th century AD. When the early church spread out from Jerusalem it went into areas of present day Greece and Turkey where Koine Greek was spoken. That's why the gospels and New testament letters are in Greek. Whilst Jesus fulfilled 351 old testament prophesies, Mohammed is never prophesied in either testament despite efforts of Muslim scholars to " fit him in".
Greek was possibly spoken by many during Jesus days since the Roman's occupied most of Europe & the Middle- East and they would have used Greek (like English is used by many today). So it may not have been Jesus native tongue but he & possibly many of his followers must have spoken some Greek, and that's the reason the gospels were written in Greek, in it's day it was an international language of the area.

@@markscheepers9908 Pretty much as I said Mark. Anyone who researches where the early church spread to can see that it was to Koine Greek speaking areas of the Eastern Mediterranean. The gospels being in Aramaic wouldn't have been useful in those areas. There is some evidence though that Matthews gospel was originally in Aramaic and translated to Koine.
I agree with Kelly that we do not need a book that has changed over time to prove that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was mentioned in it We have better than that, which is the word of God, Has not and will not change until the end of time, The Qur’an is enough for us as Muslims and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is sufficient for anyone who sincerely searches for The Truth

Guys... Open Google then type the Parallel version of the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16. Then look for the word "he is Altogether lovely" code (04261). Then click on the code (04261) and we will find the word machmad which comes from Hebrew. Then we find the TWOT Reference: 673d 673e. Then click (673d) Then we find an explanation sentence in English that the word machmad is a name (names) which means Mohammed (Prophet Muhammad) SUBHANALLAH. Holy God almighty.
Actually, you don't have the Bible as confirmation of Mohammad and neither do you have anything that comes from the true God.....Islam has been deceiving millions over the years because Mohammad was a wannabe prophet. It is clear Mohammad was clueless who that strange-spirit was he met in that cave and provided him with revelations (i.e. surah 96 - the first claimed revelation), since that stranger never did tell him his name and neither did that stranger mention which god sent him and he never links this god to Abraham (so where is the link to the true God of Abraham in surah 96 - if not how did Mohammad know who this strange-spirit was referring too, since neither titles Allah nor Lord means the true One God of Abraham & Moses. That's why God gave Moses his name (in the Bible), so that he knew - Mohammad never asked, so who did he think he was reciting to when demanded to do so? - Btw, the hadith would not have existed for another 150 to 250 years yet, so don't go to them for help since they were also not available to Mohammad at that time. And what was the point of squeezing Mohammad by this strange-spirit's in that cave (if it was meant to get him to read then if never helped because 3 squeezes he could still not read - so what was the point of squeezing him?). From a Biblical perspective "squeezing prophets" have never been Gabriel's traits (actually not the trait of any angel or messenger sent by the Biblical God, since that is not the way God does things). So where do these details originate? An Arab Christian (Waraqa bin Nawfal - who put these false ideas into Mohammad's mind that he was a prophet....really?). He is the person that told Mohammad that his encounter "sounded" like those visitation to prophets by the Biblical angel called Gabriel (I don't know what type of Christian Waraqa was because he gets this detail wrong, since the true Gabriel appeared to Mary (the mother of Jesus) and she was no prophet). It was these statement claims by Waraqa that eventually lead to this strange-spirit's god being linked to the Abrahamic God and that strange-spirit gets called, Gabriel (before this they were both nameless). None of these details came from God, but rather from a man named "Waraqa" - Islam is built on this man's claims, a man that was not present in that cave when that strange-spirit tried to choke Mohammad, so he was clueless.....everything else is fabricated. So, Mohammad could not have been mentioned in the Bible because he is no prophet of the true God, so who does that make Allah?

But let’s read the previous ayaat 78 too: “And among them are unlettered ones who do not know the Scripture except in wishful thinking, but they are only assuming.” So the preceding verse states clearly that it says that the people who do this are illiterate. This means that have not read the revelations of God. But the Christians and Jews knew their book. And it does not state that it is about the Torah and/or Gospel. It does also not say corruption of a book. It says only ‘write’, but not 'change', a book. With the purpose to earn money! Not to change the message. So clearly with another purpose than corruption. Clearly Surah 2:79 is not about ‘corruption of the Bible’.
But where in that verse does it say, they changed or corrupted the Torah and the Gospel?. If they write stuff and call it scripture, it is not the Torah or Gospel because these already existed. So, they are creating their own crap which are not those writings, so how does this change those text? And who is layman Deedat to make such a statement? Deedat was no scholar in classic Hebrew. Moreover he was not even officially educated at all. Never did Deedat refer to a Hebrew dictionary or scholar to prove his point. The first mistake by Deedat is that he pronounced מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים as ‘muhamaddim’. But he is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. Just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים’ is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name. Again, just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to the name of ‘Muhammad’. Deedat just fooled his ignorant and gullible audience.

42nd chapter of the Old Testament Book of Isaiah which clearly foretells the coming of an Arabian Prophet, specifically Prophet Muhammad.

Han is correct. It's important to highlight this alteration of Prophet Muhammad's name as it can indicate other changes or extractions,either deliberate or lost in translation. Importantly what else has been changed in the bible. If you visit the videos on Basira Connection, this eloquent teacher ,simply points out in the story of "Red Heifers and surah Baraqh",a comparison of the story in Deuteronomy, the Torah, and the Quran. I would request you guys to watch the movie The Message (1976) to know the basic of Islam and you can see how many idols were placed around the Kaabah BEFORE Prophet Muhammad PBUH received the first revelation. @reneandjohn He received his revelation from the same God and same source and many of the concept you talked about in the Bible you see spoken about in the Quran and if we talk about the new testament alone it expands on these various topics being an extensive book Moral Guidance: Bible: "Do to others as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:31) Quran: "And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins." (Quran 3:135) Prayer: Bible: "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." (Colossians 4:2)Quran: "Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance." (Quran 20:14) Charity: Bible: "Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail." And you quoted that the Paracletos (translated as Comforter of Helper), the Spirit of truth will become it from Jesus Christ. And islamic apologists claim that the Paracletos in John 14-16 is mentioned as Muhammad. Then according to these islamic apologists is Jesus also God.

Actually based on Zabur (Songs of Solomon) of which David/Daud taught his son, the scripture is more of hymns/praising God's creation. The contents now spread into Qur'an thus some of the verses in Qur'an are most sound like praising GOD because that the essential key of us the believers to continually praising ALLAH

Im quite new on this channel, and i personally preferred someone who watch the full video, knowing all the context on the video they reacted on, before making any conclusion.. As for the outro, i can see both of you were honest in learning the religion, so maybe you can start with saying "assalamualaikum" on the outro, its a suggestion but there's no harm for either you or the viewer when you said it.. Most people (at least that i know) take lightly of this word but, the word "assalamualaikum" in itself is a type of du'a, not only towards the viewer, but also for you guys, because we muslim believe that when you make a du'a even towards someone you hate, that du'a will come back to you.. Thats why sometimes you see muslim make a du'a even when that person he's talking to is cursing him just a few minutes ago..

Rubbish, he is not mentioned in the Bible....why would he be mentioned anyway since there is no proof he is a prophet of the same God that appeared to Abraham & Moses. There are more refrences in the bible that are very strong: it talks about a prophecy that takes place in Mount Sela and people singing and that is exactly what happened with the prophet when he arrived in the City of Madina where mount sella exists. 3:25 I am a Muslim and I appreciate the commentator in the video excerpt explaining the context of the verse that includes the Hebrew word, "Muhammadim". I never really paid much attention actually to what Ahmed claimed although it was a passing curiosity. When we explain Islam to people it is through the Quran not the Bible; and the Quran corroborates what was in both the Torah and Injeel and the previous revelations. I love both the Torah and the Injeel and they have a very special place in my heart. It is said that the first seven chapters - some of the longest - of the Quran were given in place of the Torah; and I found it quite interesting that the Torah was quite a short revelation in comparison to the Quran. Cute. Of course, while the Torah was revealed all at once as far as I understand, its brother, the Quran was revealed over a period of twenty three years. Makes me happy talking about them. It's as though I can see Moses receiving the Torah and then reciting it and implementing its verses, and the same with the Son of Mary and the Injeel - promulgating it and studying it throughout the day. I wonder what they sounded like. I wonder what verses they contained. 🥲I wonder about the trouble the scribes had due to the high cost of parchment. I wonder about the extreme and prolonged stress that Moses was put under due to the physical weight of the revelation, receiving it all at once in one session instead of twenty three years which was still almost impossible to bear c.f. It is true that we have the Quran, but we need to prove that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was mentioned in their book. Why? because the Quran said so. Look at Surah 7. Al-A'raf Verse 157: Those who follow the Messenger, the prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad PBUH) whom they find written with them in the Turat (torah) (Deut, XVii 15) and injeel (Gospel) (John XiV, 16) So, we need to show them, those who changed the name by translating it just to hide the clear mentioning of it in their books! WHO in the world translates names unless he intentionally wanted to hide the clear truth???
