The judge out of the State of Washington, how she became a judge and got her law degree amazes me when she couldn't answer Kennedy's questions when he asked her about Article 2 and 5 of the Constitution, Kennedy said you are a law scholar and should know this. It should be mandatory for all legislative personal attending these committee hearings surrender their cell phones, laptops anything that will distract them from the agenda at hand so their attention is on the subject that is being deliberated. If a nominee for a federal judge, can’t answer the simple questions that Ted Cruz is posing they have no business being a nominee.
Sen. Cruz was offered a nomination to SCOTUS during the last admin. He said in his podcast, words to the effect that he was honored by the offer but he could do more for people in the trenches of the Senate. Glad to see he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. Anyone who accuses someone of being racist or a white supremacist, especially in politics and journalism, should be automatically called before a court and required to provide proof, or be charged with malicious slandering. Normally i'd just say that people should just sue everyone on the left does this SO MUCH that we need a pro-active mechanism.

I am from Southern Minnesota. Very rural. But apparently I would be a better constitutional JUDGE than her. My constitutional law professors would have flunked me if I didn’t know the constitution. WTF.
There was a time when you couldnt graduate high school if you couldnt pass a civics exam. Of course those were back in the days before the gov't was infiltrated with commies.
It seems like it is just a game to them. I'm not a law student, just a regular guy and common sense has gone out the window.
Maybe if everyone got off their damn phones during such a discussion as this, the country might just be in a better place. Everyone should be forced to hand their phones in and listen. They may just learn something.
