Titanic is a movie that has stood the test of time... and has one of the BIGGEST unanswered questions of any movie. No, I don't mean could they both fit on the door if Rose had just moved over a little. I mean the question is Jack a time traveler sent to make sure the Titanic sinks? Yes, that age old question. Well Theorists, today we are going to answer that once and for all!

    • It's more complicated then that. Rose just don't remember it correcly. She is over 100 years old, and trust me with how time can affect brain no wonder there is some anachronistic's in this. I know Mat prefers to make it zebras rather then horses, but it's much simpler that she doesn't remember it correcly and make up blanks in her memory. Because human mind doesn't remember anything at all, it just recall HOW we remember that event. That's why mandela effect or deja vu exist. It is how your brain alter your memory because more time passes and more blurry that memory is. It's like old magnetic tapes. The more you play them the less charge they have, and more distroted they get. On that note how does she remember him going with that bag. I mean why we have perspective of ANYONE other that Rose IN HER MEMORY.

They had to cut collapsible A off the ship. Collapsible B on the other hand…it flipped over while being pushed off the officers quarters while the bridge was going under (also landed on top of a guy but he survived that and I think was actually saved). It floated off and a bunch of guys, including the guy who had collapsible B land on top of him, and Second Officer Charles Lightoller (the most senior officer on the titanic). Fun history lesson for y’all (lots died on Collapsible A btw, pretty sure everyone on Collapsible B survived, you can look it up and correct me on that. 9:56 The Lusitania was an American ship that belonged to the Cunard line. • In all fairness, with the exception of Rose, Jack, Rose's fiance, and her mom the rest of the people on the Titanic are actual people who were on the real Titanic. Even down to the baker who was the last person to get off of the Titanic did the exact same thing in real life and lived to tell the tale about it. Heck, they should make a movie out of all the lives of the actual people who survived and died on the Titanic instead of two fictional characters on the ship.

    @deannal.newton9772@deannal.newton9772 Жыл бұрын
    • Probably because they don't really want their stories heard or mainstream. As far as I have researched no one will attest to seeing an iceberg, but they will to hearing an explosion. If you know about who was on board that ship and everything that has transpired after it sinking due to their absence. It would be clear cut motive and opportunity for purposely doing it. Then giving suddle hints in movies and not mainstreaming real testimonies that would make people ask questions. Just my opinion though. Especially since history repeats itself and it's been done before that and even recently.

      @willwilliams2944@willwilliams294410 ай бұрын
    • @@willwilliams2944 few people saw an iceberg because it was close to midnight, below 0 outside and the iceberg itself was barely visible in the first place. most people barely even noticed the collision The 'explosion' that many people claim they heard was shortly because the Titanic went under, and was likely the deafening sound of the whole thing snapping in half Keep your conspiracy theories out of here

Even the baker, who was the last person to jump off the ship, is an actual for real person that survived the Titanic sinking as well as the violinist who stayed behind to keep playing in order to calm the passengers.

  • I think it’s very very important to mention that the German navy HAD a reason to sink the Lusitania because there was apparently ammunition and weapons aboard the Lusitania and the Germans basically said “oh that’s a cargo ship carrying stuff to supply our enemies” so the U-Boat sank the Lucy other then that the German Navy (to my knowledge) didn’t sink any other ocean liners on their regular routes carrying paying passengers

    @Arandohistorian202@Arandohistorian20210 ай бұрын
    • They had a reason, but it was in breach of International Law the way the attack was carried out. You had to ask the merchant ship for boarding permission to check for war material, and if you found material the ship had to be scuttled and all civilians onboard rescued, or if close to shore, put into life boats and they can make it to shore. Germany attacking the Lusitania never even said that a attack was coming. And it was also a guess whether or not the ship was carrying war material. And in the future Germany sank many civilian ships that had no war material on board.

  • Let's not forget the whole story was told from a 101 year old Rose's perspective. A 101 year old who is about to die at the end of the movie could easily confuse Lake Wissota and Santa Monica Pier as something Jack said. I believe that could be a clue as to where Rose did most of her ice fishing later in life and the pier as something Rose definitely visited in the horseback picture between 1917-1923. Same thing with "Molly" Brown. She confused Brown's name she went by on the Titanic with the name she heard for years and years after the sinking just as she confused actually doing the activities with something Jack actually said.

It hitting the iceberg caused numerous immediate changes to ships, such as dual hulls, bulk head design, water tight doors, and 24/7 radio operators. These likely saved hundreds of thousands of lives at sea from ww1 through ww2. The wars could have been very different if sea transit was hit more severely.

    • Does it really matter if it was a historical inaccuracy., or a ‘plot hole’ or not? The point is to take established evidence to create a theory and have fun with it. It wouldn’t be called Film Theory if Mat-Pat just when through the answer of: Oh, it’s probably just the researchers making a couple of mistakes. Sure, Mat-Pat would’ve probably been right... but it would’ve made a bad theory, and made it a lot more boring and dull. It’s kind of a running gag that there’s always a simple answer, but May-Pat ignores it with his... *ability to OVER-ANALYZE.* And to be honest... if people can learn about WW2, the Titanic, and a bunch of knowledge because a dude made a crazy theory about the main love-interest being a time-traveling life-savior, despite there being a clear and logical answer just right in front of him... why should we stop him?

  • Not to mention that Jack, formally greeting Rose prior to the first class dinner, had said, and I quote, "I saw that on a Nickelodeon once and I always wanted to do it" after the formal greeting. Nickelodeon didn't air on television until April 1, 1979, further cementing the theory that Jack is in fact a time traveler.

  • There already were time travelers on the Titanic. If you don't know, Brian and Stewie Griffin decided to help Chris Griffin get smarter and they eventually got onto the Titanic. Soon, since an officer named Nigel Harpington wouldn't let them on a lifeboat, Chris pushed him off and killed him. And it was disguised as a dream the whole time and Chris thinks the Titanic was called the Gigantic.
