Antonov An-225 Mriya | 10 AWESOME TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS OF THE BIGGEST AIRCRAFT ever existed
Compilation of ten awesome takoffs and landings of the Antonov An-225 Mriya, the biggest commercial aircraft ever existed. The An-225 has a wingspan of 88.4 meters and can carry a maximum of 250 tons. Unfortunately it was destroyed in February 2022 in the Ukraine war.

It was amazing how graceful this lumbering giant looked on take off and landing,such a shame to destroy such an achievement 😞....
The Antonov AN-225 lives on….only in the memories of those who got to fly it as pilots and co-pilots, and those who flew in it as passengers and loadmasters. And in those who managed to take pictures and videos of this magnificent aircraft.
MANY years ago I was fortunate enough to watch her take off at the airport I work at. I've seen the An 124 take off a few times, I took video of it at least once. So sad they were destroyed. 😢

Fabulous video! This aircraft is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator in March 2023. All proceeds from the sales go to re-building this airplane in Ukraine!
In 2016 Antonov agreed to licence the AN 225 to China. If this project comes to fruition we could yet again see this type in the air.

They'll probably focus on rebuilding their normal fleet then to build a an225 which is a highly specific need plane
