I'm doing everything to buy direct from local farmers. It might be more expensive but far less costly than starvation.
Yes my friends and my buy from a local farm. I worry if they try to close them down! We the people must not let this happen!

My wife's grandparents were dairy farmers but back even in the '80's they were pushed out of business by crony corporate government. there used to be about 10 dairy's on the western Slope of Colorado...now...maybe a few very small farmers. Government sucks and is NOT your friend.

It's funny. They moved to Colorado to get away from California. Because they hated how it was. But they loved how Colorado was and they didn't change anything about how they voted. So they made it happen again just like it was where they left. Sorry to hear. Ms. Stevens

Water consumption? Why don't we get rid of Nestle and others siphoning off water (at times, for free) processing and packaging it in plastic? Billions and billions of gallons....

Most people don't know that. Nestle wants to control the water worldwide!
If "they" can't have your farm living then they will find a way you can't either. When they move to a more rural area, they immediately start to complain. Developers lie ,change plans after smoozing.....promised equestrian friendly and suddenly a private golf course, traditional horse trails blocked off.

We're running into the same thing in Wyoming. During COVID lockdowns in California, there were CA-refugees fleeing the state and many wound up here. Complaints about living on a dirt road with no maintenance, requests for help digging out a driveway after a big snowstorm because they didn't plan ahead, new stop signs and speed limits. Progress, I guess.

How can we pave over one more inch of rangeland, cropland, wetland, timber, wildlife habitat, and anything that helps feed us, clean waters us, gives us peace, and protein. Seriously, being from the midwest, I’ve seen this genocide in my lifetime.
What has been happening in Europe is coming to America. I’m not happy that Colorado Senator Bennett has a bill going after ranchers. Just can’t have that methane! Won’t be voting for him, if we even still have voting by then.
I've lived in Denver my entire life. Some families that lived in Globeville for generations have been pushed out by imminent domain. It's been a depressed area up until 10? years ago. I read in a local paper a few years ago, one family lost their home to the i70 expansion and one of the relatives went back to see how their old home/area and what "progress" had been made. His family's old home had been deemed historic and sold. I'm guessing here, but I bet worth at least twice what they were given. It's now considered part of the rino art district, which is expanding every day in every way. Imo, their home was stolen from them. The city is making bank removing impoverished, or close to, families. Progress. Greed. It's heartbreaking
Much of the so called open space around Boulder had been picked up in a similar fashion , only here it was called “willing “ seller , of course they were willing , road access was curtailed , water interdicted in the name of the environment , couldn’t operate ones farm except between certain hrs , of course one became a “willing” seller , then the houses and barns oft times were sold either to city/county officials or declared historic , such an excellent con , all will tell you how great this is , except those who sold
That is just disgusting! Thanks for the information. Really, really hard to take this all in. Im from eastern Canada, and my impression of Colorado is ski resorts, old silver mines, Red Rocks amphitheater, and, courtesy of Louis Lamour, cow country and desert. The problem is most people have no idea where food comes from so they will believe anything they're told. That will make it very challenging to stop, especially in states like Colorado, Oregon, California. Most people have no idea that much of the land used to raise animals is not suitable for growing crops. Or that most of what they buy in grocery stores has little real nutrition and is why they are overweight and unhealthy.
That is true.

This is why companies are moving away from states like Co, Ca, Ill, and NY. Farmers today your business tomorrow. They persistently make these business want to move. This is pushing a political agenda without concern for the consequences. Not sure how easy it is to move this facility but I don't see anyone wanting to put a new business in these states.
This is the very reason why they started property taxes, if you pay property taxes you do not own the land, and they can take it from you and there is nothing we can do about it.
Yes there is, but people won't.
The government owns the land and people think they own what’s on the land, but the state owns that and that’s why you pay property taxes and eminent domain can be used.

I am 62, live in the suburbs of Mpls and just finished a "Food As Medicine" class. My teacher was pushing "plant-based diets" but we did have a LOT of material that we watched that was good. There was a documentary about the fact that organic farming is actually better for the environment and CAN produce enough food for the world. (Despite the food/agri-undustrial complex/Bill Gates claiming that they need to farm with the gmo "patented " crops in order to be able to "feed the world"......🙄 The organic farming IS slower AT THE BEGINNING, but in the end, it has better results in multiple ways. Not only that, but I JUST read a SECOND article yesterday (and the other one was in the last couple-ish weeks) about the DANGER of the synthetic meat. Cancers etc. Yeah, and lastly, my teacher had us read an article about the concern of the situation in Ukraine and why THAT was causing a food crisis. I wrote that the food crisis was caused by the WAR on farmers, starting in the Netherlands but also currently going on in Germany and France and Poland also. I mentioned how they claim "cow farts" are causing climate change.... And WOW.... She did NOT like that! She reprimanded me for not giving accurate information and she wrote an entire paragraph to me about the methane gas from cows! Hahaha I got an "A" in the class, which finished a week ago and I have a collection of videos and info from KZhead that I'm going to send her so that she can expand her knowledge lol. Fortunately I'm not relying on her for anything academically ... I just took the class to learn, and I did learn some. But I knew much already. I will say, regarding THIS video... The Oregon Constitution requires the people be compensated for the water they take from them in the same way as if land was taken for public use. In Colorado land may not be taken unless it's justly compensated and the land owner can require a jury decision before land may be taken. "Private property shall not be taken or damaged, for public or private use, without just compensation". Damage includes enacting policies that ruin the property value. The county MUST compensate the people for those actions and the people can keep the property. Read and learn your Constitutions. The Law, the Constitutions protect against all this...

I live in oregon I buy my fruits and veggies I don't grow myself from farmers market ,same with meat, had it not been for this channel I would have known ,I was on the phone the next day with state reps and county commissioners thax for the work you are doing ..alot of people that need to hear this side of the story and the effects on economy and livelihood of locals.if that bill fails better paint your roof blue,or red it'll be the next town to burn , The owners and controllers of global financial capital won't stop until they get there 2030 2040 agenda. It's going to be a surveillance state , They want to control our water are food every single aspect of our lives. Look at what they've been doing to Amos Miller.Dont give them the benefit of the doubt.
