  • Dear Nicolas, this visit was outstanding! The temple windows, the architecture of the building and decor are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for taking us there. Your country has the most beautiful manicured gardens, it will be wonderful to see the rose garden in bloom. I love these kind of videos, have a great week and stay well until next time.

  • Thank you taking us on the wonderful tour of “The Temple”. The rooms and all the design elements are gorgeous. It was wonderful that you actually prepared food you ordered from HELLO FRESH and showed how effortless it was to make a really delicious looking meal. The walk through, with your mother, of the Rose nursery and grounds was very nice. Hope you’ve rested up from your travels. Stay well👍🙏😎

  • Architecture is lovely, stunning windows but is so cold, no life, art, flowers, cold grey. Sadly no welcoming feel. Some comfort of throws, books or signs of life would help. Stunning building. The entire room is grey nor deep to the room. Plants that are there need to be 3 times the size for the scale of the room. Kitchen is unusual, nice snug, the main bedroom is my favourite. Beautiful rose venue

  • Hello, You mention about a Box hedged formal garden that is being made for your sister's family. With many years experience of formal gardening on a large scale, I should advise against this with the current issues of Box blight. Although Box is a wonderful plant and, when clipped makes great hedges, alas, the disease is now affecting Box plants across the country. An alternative is Ilex 'crenata' which is very tough, looks very similar, without disease and far less expensive. The Temple of Diana is a wonderful folly but, in my view, was designed in 1760 for leisure and not for accommodation and that is for what it is best suited.

I have three David Austen roses in my garden and they are perfection. I volunteer in the rose garden of a summer home of the Vanderbilt family. The floribunda Queen Elizabeth rose is just beautiful . I love some of the names of their roses as well. 🌹
