@@alexanderkahn687 average in SSL (Swedish super league) is usually 70-80% so not that much lower than NHL
@@jackbauer7285 NHL's average save percentage has been over 90% for 20+ years. There's a big gap between 90% and 70%. For a 30 shots game (not sure if it happens in floorball), a NHL goalie averages a little less than 3 goals against versus 9 goals against for a 70% SV% floorball goalie.

Why does the floor look like it doesn't allow any movement for the goalie? Usually the surface friction is minimized to allow a fair chance for the goalie too
Cant tell you bout the friction, but the way this goalie have his legs placed, similar to hockey, is the main reason he is limited. In floorball goalies usually either have both legs towards the same side or angeled behind him to move from side to side easier.

The hockeyball floor is really bad for movement on knees. Normal floor in some sport centre is moveable
I have an aluminum shaft that has an abs on it that’s about 20 years old. The blade is still good aside from 1 inch on the heel where the white plastic material seems to have broke off and now it shows the wood underneath. You seem to have played some street and may have a good opinion. I’m teaching my son right now. It’s a really rare shaft that I want to get going again. I played until I was 19. Never learned this stuff. Somehow this junior setup is my best stick. Do you think if I got one of these I would be able to use my Sherwood aluminum shaft? It’s only an inch at most chipped away and maybe 1/8” deep into the shaft. Right at the end of the heel. Been looking for ways to repair it and can’t find anything. When it comes to replacing, I’m getting totally lost lol All those curve patterns don’t seem to match. It says junior mid-X 5. I’m still comfortable with it at my age though. The numbers don’t make sense to me though. I would be really happy with a p29. Crosby or whatever. I mostly land wrist shots and I’m decent at slap shots, but they’re not my go to. Knees is the most efficient and its the easiest position to use your hands. And accurate shooting is easier so you really need your hands. I recomend watching floorball👍🏻
If you stand, you cover way less. On your knees your whole body is covering the net and that is vital. All goalies do stand up when the play is not near own goal, just to save knees and rest, but when actually playing goalie, they are on their knees. The movement is nothing like this though.
