*Surprisingly **easy.Looks.Luxury** Smooth close lid, like with cabinets and drawers. Love this and will buy it again.*
Thanks for the video. That 1/4 turn valve. Is it a 1/2 inch to 3/8 or 1/2 to 1/2 inch? Thank you again
Very helpful video..Thanks!!
That was the Danco Perfect Seal you used? I was raised on the old wax rings where you attach it to the toilet first and then pray you don't knock it off in the process of seating the toilet. The one you used looks like you just attached that puppy to the floor and brought the toilet to it. Much simpler, but I wonder how good the seal from the ring to the toilet is? (I guess I am used to goopy things that stick to the porcelain and am suspicious of what looks like "pressure on plastic".)
This seal will be the same, no matter if you'll put in on the bottom of the toilet or on the flange. The way we install it it's easier for us.
how do you take the seat off. the plumber put it on crooked.
phillips head screw driver so easy to do. Use a wrench to hold the nut on the bottom.
You recommend caulk on the base of toilet or grout?
Neither. Use clear 100% silcone. GE makes a good one.
How would you notice a leak?
Is this the Ultramax I or II? I thought the II is ready for Washlet+ bidets.
II - that what it said on the box
In market for new toilet. Is the best that you have seen?
I like this one amzn.to/34ygXtD
I am a senior home owner. I instlled 3 of this in our bathrooms using that Danco seal. No problem at all. This toilet flushes very well and quiet. Universal seat height makes it easy to sit and stand up. One piece toilet is way to go for me.
Ya know, you could have just flushed the toilet AFTER you turned off the water supply, so no water would remain in the tank....
It did s still 1/4 - 1/2 gallon of water remaining in the tank.
