De Onafhankelijke Staat Kroatië (NDH) was de naam van Kroatië tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Wat gebeurde er in Kroatië tijdens WO II? En hoe sloot Kroatië zich aan bij de Asmogendheden? De Onafhankelijke Staat Kroatië (NDH) werd opgericht toen de Duitse invasie van Joegoslavië nog gaande was. De nieuwe staat kwam onder leiding van de Ustaša-organisatie te staan onder leiding van Ante Pavelić. De Ustasha's pleegden veel misdaden tegen Servische en Joodse mensen, alsmede Roma en Sinti.
