  • Keep up the good work Chris. This channel is getting better and better every episode. Your podcast is very appreciated by your fans. Have you considered bringing non-hockey guests on the show? Your interview skills are very good- you could interview anybody. Just a thought Chris

  • 0 french? A simple merci goes a long way. Love Kirby , if a french man like me could learn english he sure can learn 2 or 3 words. If I were in Japan id atleast know to say arigatou . Just show respect for the culture. I have many english friends that speak french , I work for an hospital at receiving docks, some english people try their best at french when they see im a frenchman and i speak to them in english. Its about respect .

    • Agree 100%. Nothing against Kirby or other players, but I never understood why anyone would live in Quebec and never learn French. As you said, a simple merci shows respect.

      @rickl696@rickl6963 ай бұрын
    • I agree he should definitely learn a few words and basic phrases at the very least but it's not the same as some one coming by choice to work and live or being born and/or raised in Quebec. I'm pretty sure he has at least learned bonjour and merci but didn't want to attempt anything he might butcher. Sounds like the organization could be doing a better job of helping players with the language barrier.

  • What a wonderful interview Tim and Chris. You have that skill set to bring out relevant emotions when interviewing a great player who has been beset with a morale challenging slew of injuries. Kirby is a good man and the HABS need more great players like him to challenge for the Stanley Cup

    • 100% agreeing! Wasn't for Roy, we wouldn't have won the Cup in 93. But so many bad trades from 1988/9....Starting with Knuckles, then Pepe Lemieux, Chelios starting to peak vs Denis Savard for it's last 2 years....LeClair and Desjardins vs Recchi (...!), Roy..

    • So far it has been a pretty disappointing trade for the Habs. The best ability is availability and Kirby has had some tough luck on that front.

      @cameronmccormick89@cameronmccormick893 ай бұрын
    • hawks are happy with Nazar and he’s an underachiever that’s always hurt. he seems like a good guy with a great attitude, but those are just facts. I know it’s 2024 and people don’t want to hear the truth, but Montreal giving up a #1 and then giving him that contract was ridiculous. The truth isn’t always nice, grown ups used to know that
