  • Rig at 1:43 is hoooot 🥵🔥 Driver at 2:09 & 8:34 is the best one of the group. He knows how to send it slow and steady. Is 3” lift + 33s enough for this obstacle? Thx

    • Thank you - that’s me in the silver 200. I’ve been fortunate to run this trail several times in the past, so I had an advantage! Usually 33s will do the trick with the right line as long as your vehicle isn’t super long. I suggest getting out and walking each obstacle up and down first so you understand where your tires are going which helps a lot with driving smoothly through the line.

  • Those are some cool Toyotas, looks like y’all got a chance to test their capabilities.

  • I love when us Yota owners come together for great organized fun!... I loved seeing that FJ in the mix!.. I have had the day FJ since I was 16, so over a decade lol.. I also have a 2019 4Runner TRD Off Road.. Sadly, no Land Cruiser has been sold in Canada, since the 90s.... We don't have the 200 Series.... I'm looking for a decent 80 Series!.. A relatively good one is very expensive lol.

  • Hey Matt, love the LC200 and great videos of it. Just curious if you still have the OME LIFT and how are you liking compare to OME B51?

    @markmiguel3350@markmiguel33502 жыл бұрын
    • Still have the basic OME on this one and had the BP51 on the old 16. I like them both, but the basic OME is simpler and easier and works perfectly installed out of the box.

    • @@MattGaskinsYT Thanks Matt for the reply, used almost the same set up with the little higher spring rate than what you have in the back. Did you by any chance experienced any noise coming from the rear shock hardwares, metal to metal rubbing, etc.?

  • Any future plans to take your 200 series to Elephant Hill Trail? Be interesting to see how well your LC fits thru the squeeze. I wonder if a 200 series with brush bars would fit thru there.

    • Not in the near future, but that 200 with the Slee dual swingout rear bumper recently did E Hill and made it through without damage!

    • @@MattGaskinsYT any chance there is a video of it on youtube? I haven't found a video of a 200 going thru the squeeze.

    • I've seen some older videos of a 4x4 tour group taking Excursions through there. They did drive with the right side up on the wall though to make it lol.

    • In case anyone isn't aware. You can access this obstacle from another trail besides 7-mile rim. That trail is really mild until you reach this obstacle. Then you run it the opposite direction. You go up and then back down. I've run it in my '02 Sequoia. Really fun!
